The hotel is severely overpriced, and the rooms are truly mediocre. The place is like a maze—it’s incredibly difficult to find your room—and they unfairly withheld my security deposit. I will definitely not be staying there again！

A beautiful hotel but lacking in amenities. Service was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was great except the waiters kept forgetting/ignoring our requests and displayed slight signs of ******. We walked into our room one morning after breakfast to see the cleaning lady there so we greeted her but she ignored us and continued to clean our room. There was a lot of hammering noises outside our room around 11pm every night which I believe to be the staff dismantling something from the wedding party earlier in the evening. We even had to wait in a line for nearly 10 minutes just to check out of the hotel! Might come again for the restaurant but unfortunately will not want to stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast in room, a $70 breakfast, they charged $6 for delivery, then added a 20% service charge, and topped it off with a $22 tip (the first two items weren't displayed when I signed for the tip). It seems like moving the breakfast from the kitchen to the room incurred three separate fees, adding over 40% to the bill just to get it done.

The hotel has an old-money, Spanish style; it's very elegant and located in the town of Pasadena, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The guests were all white, and the restaurant prices were reasonable. It's quite refined.
