The Coral Blue Oriental Beach Villas and Suites

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. The room itself was quite okay — clean and acceptable — but the air conditioning was extremely noisy. It was so loud that we couldn’t sleep properly at night. When we tried switching it off, the room became unbearably hot, so either way it was uncomfortable. Breakfast was very basic and limited, with little variety and nothing particularly memorable. Although the hotel advertises a sea view, there is no proper beach in front where you can relax. Only during low tide is there a small stretch of sand, but it’s not really suitable for spending time by the sea. Another disappointing aspect was the corkage policy: they charge a fee if you bring your own drinks (even wine) or food to consume in your room, which feels quite unreasonable for hotel guests. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations and we wouldn’t choose to return.

The resort’s charming bamboo design creates a warm, nature-inspired atmosphere that perfectly captures the relaxing feel of province life. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, kind, and approachable, always attentive to guests’ needs. They even go the extra mile with thoughtful touches, like accommodating laundry preferences and providing transportation to the port. Its location is ideal, you can explore nearby attractions and local shops on foot, or rent a motorbike for a wider adventure. Plenty of nearby restaurants offer a range of food choices, and the resort accepts both cash and cards for convenience. We had a wonderful stay, it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge before heading back to our busy work schedules. While you’re here, make sure to visit Baigad Lagoon, Secret Paradise (White Sand Beach), and the Obo-ob Mangrove Eco-Park all worth the trip for their beauty and unique charm. And for a memorable experience, don’t miss the kawa hot bath, a fun and relaxing soak in a giant cauldron-like tub heated over a fire. Crystal-clear waters, breathtaking views, and plenty of photo opportunities make these spots unforgettable, so bring your camera or drone to capture the magic.

Very original hotel Philipino style. My room was outstanding with an amazing shower room / toilet, a nice balcony with hammock, in front of the sea. Breakfast was ok but could be served a bit longer (till 09h00). Shakes were super delicious.

No soap and shower gel there’s toilet bowl doesn’t work properly. The place is nice to unwind/ relaxing . But they don’t have parking area for the car.

We stayed in June 2026 with friends (4 paxs). Accomodation Price - Got a 2 bedroom unit at P14,000/unit. Found the rate expensive but still got it as the other resort we were originally planning to stay was full and we were heading last minute. No Senior/PWD discount for the accomodation (we have a senior with us). Room was upstairs. Manageable to go up but always check if you have Seniors. Water - in shower is salty. Need to wash ourselves for another round using drinking water to wash off the salty feels after shower. Food - is average. For the price it was not a buffet breakfast. Plated meals and a 3-in-1 coffee. Needed to pay extra for a brewed coffee. if I remember price was p145. Shoreline - not much as the property itself is seating on the shoreline. If you need a relaxing wide shoreline - not here. Beachfront - water not clean during the time we stayed. Premises - cleanliness front entrance of the hotel. Needs improvement and clean up. Amenities - just average for the price. Overall - not coming back in this resort.
