Palacio da Lousa Boutique Hotel

This was our second stay at the hotel, and it was just as fabulous as the first. The wellness area — with its sauna, cold‑water dip, and warm indoor pool — made the stay incredibly relaxing. The breakfast buffet was as good as I remember it, and on this trip was also our first time dining at Raiz, the hotel’s restaurant for dinner, and the experience was wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. This is definitely our go-to hotel when we're in Lousã!

Palácio da Lousã Boutique Hotel is centrally located, easy to find and plenty of free parking. The check-in was so friendly and helped with the luggage and answered any qusetions we had. We had the Breakfast special which was excellent with a very large selection. The would even do poached or fried eggs if requested. The spa was very nice and the water temperature in the indoor pool was very warm. We did a day tour to the Schist Villages in the hills and the people at the front desk where so helpful mapping places to see. We did not have dinner at the Hotel so cannot comment on it other than the restaurant look beautiful. We had a deluxe room and it was very spacious with a comfortable bed. What we really liked were the beautiful reading rooms with high ceilings and very comfortable chairs. Great place to sit down and read after a busy day touring Lousaã. We would highly recommend Palácio da Lousã Boutique Hotel for your stay in Lousã.

5 The history of the hotel was very interesting, with beautiful interior and excellent staff. There are Cafes and restaurant near by. Visit the castle Worth a visit up, if it’s open or not. book at nearby restaurant. The view over the town is amazing. The hotel was an Excellent location to visit family.

I cannot put into words how perfect our evening was. We enjoyed an unforgettable dinner and the setting could not have been more romantic. The staff were attentive and every little detail felt thought through. Most importantly, this was the evening I proposed to my partner, and thanks to the team, it turned into a memory we will both treasure for the rest of our lives. To anyone considering a special evening or celebration, I could not recommend this place more highly. It exceeded every expectation. Thank you for making such a meaningful moment truly magical.
