Grand Orchardz Hotel Kemayoran Jakarta

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The facilities were great, and the pool was spotless. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and excellent. The only minor issue was that some in-room facilities, like the electric kettle, need maintenance. The one in my room had a detached lid and was cracked. But overall, this hotel is highly recommended!

The room was spacious enough and very quiet; I wasn't disturbed at all. Breakfast was quite rich and varied. Getting a taxi was also convenient.

The breakfast was mediocre with limited variety. The front desk service was inflexible; they even required a deposit for an extra key card, which other hotels around Jakarta don't ask for. Due to special circumstances, I had to cancel the remaining nights of my stay. I discussed this with Ctrip, and they offered a very understanding solution and also communicated with the hotel. However, the hotel absolutely refused to issue a refund, insisting that I stay there. I honestly don't feel they were very accommodating towards Chinese guests. Thumbs down. There are no convenient stores or dining options nearby. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're on a business trip.

This hotel offers great value for money, though the downstairs buffet was just okay. I went a bit late and there wasn't much good food left. For breakfast, they ask if you want coffee, but it's an extra charge. If you like coffee, it's worth buying as Indonesian coffee is generally quite fragrant.

The hotel was pretty good. The breakfast had a great variety. It's about 20+ kilometers from the airport, and you can get there in 30 minutes if there's no traffic. I stayed here for a business trip this time, but I'd definitely come back for a leisure trip if I have the chance.
