Riu Sri Lanka All Inclusive

Extremely clean hotel!!! They're constantly cleaning everywhere, the whole complex is spotless! Friendly staff.

The rooms aren't brand new, but they're well-maintained and very clean. The service is warm, polite, and well-trained; it felt like they treated foreigners (including Chinese) better than their own countrymen. The dining options are incredibly varied, so you'll definitely get your fill. For the price, it offers great value for money. During the day, there are small interactive games by the pool, and you can spot squirrels and water birds. In the evenings, there are free shows. There were no mosquitoes indoors or out. The downsides are: 1. Transportation isn't very convenient; you can only take a taxi. 2. It was extremely crowded. We happened to be there during a local public holiday, so sometimes there were queues for the elevators and buffet.

We really enjoyed the all-inclusive experience. Although the meals were similar each day, we didn't get bored. Our children were safe and comfortable. The pool being separated for adults and children might have slightly limited the fun, but I suppose it's for safety. Despite that, we had a great time.

Good hotel with competent staff and delicious breakfasts. Lots of pools and close access to the beach, though the waves were high even in season.

Excellent buffet food, and no issues or limits on alcoholic drinks. The pools are great and the rooms are comfortable.

We stayed in November 2025. Everything was great – the service, amenities, and food were wonderful. Excellent value for money. The beach isn't suitable for swimming, but there's an alternative: you can take a tuk-tuk to another one. I recommend it.

The hotel needs a renovation. It would be great if they installed wave breakers, as swimming at the beach is impossible due to waves and currents. There's no infrastructure outside the hotel. The only plus is the all-inclusive package.
