Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park

I stayed at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park during Chinese New Year, and overall, it exceeded my expectations. Here's my honest review: First, the pros: The hotel's decor is incredibly grand and luxurious. The lobby is spacious and bright, with high ceilings that add to the opulent feel. The whole environment is very impressive and perfect for photos. The breakfast selection is truly amazing! From Thai flavors to Chinese, Japanese, and Western options, there are so many stations, and the food is delicious. It definitely sets you up for an energetic day. The service also deserves praise; both the front desk and other staff members were incredibly warm and friendly. You could tell they really tried their best to meet guests' needs, and their attitude was excellent. Some minor drawbacks (objective observations): Since it was the Chinese New Year holiday, there was a huge crowd, which meant queuing for breakfast every morning. This definitely detracted from the experience. Also, due to the high volume of guests, the speed at which food was replenished and dishes were cleared in the restaurant sometimes couldn't keep up. You could see the staff were extremely busy, but the situation still felt a bit chaotic. In summary: The hotel's facilities and service are top-notch, and the staff did their absolute best. I'd suggest the hotel consider optimizing crowd management during peak seasons (e.g., opening more dining areas or extending breakfast hours) to further improve the guest experience. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Cleanliness: Decent, pretty good. The service was excellent and it was very clean. I'll definitely be back. I just hope the prices don't go up too quickly, as it's tough for businesses in every industry right now.

Bugs on the sheets! The ceiling was all cracked! The bathroom ceiling was bulging! This is the worst Marriott I've ever stayed at! I won't even mention the old furniture; the room was clearly a modified standard room, and the TV wasn't even centered. Am I supposed to watch TV with my head tilted? I didn't even use the TV, but seriously, couldn't you have done a more thorough renovation?

Great location, about a ten-minute walk to the subway station. The hotel is clean and tidy. There are many food stalls right outside the hotel, a Lawson convenience store across the street, and 7-Elevens on both sides. Recommended.

You can have breakfast outdoors, with a garden right behind where local Thais often go for morning and evening runs, and there are also facilities like a basketball court nearby. The transportation is incredibly convenient, making this one of the best hotels of this brand I've ever stayed at.

The lobby is impressive, and the rooms are great too.
