The location is excellent, just one block away from the station, and there's a convenience store downstairs. The facilities are new and complete. The only thing that needs improvement is the washer/dryer; I'm not sure if it was because there were too many clothes, but it took a very long time to dry them. The breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of options, many local products, and especially a great selection of toppings for yogurt.

I was thrilled to use my Trip.com points for a free night at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka. The room was perfect for one person, offering a great view of Kaiun Bridge. I even got to enjoy some cold noodles and BBQ at Seirokaku.

Hotel is not too far from Morioka JR station. You need to use tunnel to cross the road. Hotel room is surprisingly large. Bathroom is larger than typical Japanese hotel. With its price, great value. Highly recommended.

The hotel is really convenient and just 7 mins walk from the Morioka station. It’s close to the famous pyon pyon sha restaurant and also a 20mins walk along the shops to the red brick Iwate bank building. Lots to explore with a great base location of the hotel. The soundproofing of the walls were unfortunately a little lacking as there were loud walking and stomping noise from the neighbouring room.

Fantastic, I'm very satisfied! The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from Morioka Station and seems quite popular. It's very clean and the facilities are modern. You can pick up toiletries, tea bags, and instant coffee on the first floor. From the window, there's a beautiful mountain view, and Kaiun Bridge is right below. The breakfast was also good, with some local specialties.
