The Cliffside Inn

Upon arrival I was told they had wrongly given away my room to another guest. Not a good start. Worse, they offered to correct it by asking the wrongful inhabitants to leave. That would not have been a good scene. Instead they showed me two less-desirable rooms. We had to settle. No apologies, no offer to compensate me for their mistake and the displacement, no outreach from the management to discuss. A pretty poorly run place that was a little dirty, unkept (rusting baseboard heaters is embarrassing for their room rates), and could care little about their reputation. I would avoid.

Super clean room with fresh home made breakfast and free coffee bar, beverages and snacks all day. Steps away from Cliffwalk and Mansion tours. Night cap next to fire pit with beautiful landscaping. Ocean view as well!

Had a perfect weekend stay at inn! Beautiful room, the kindest staff and great wine hour and breakfast. The inn is conveniently located by the Cliff Walk and easy to get to restaurants as well.

This was a great place to have a relaxing weekend. The location can’t be beat, the breakfast was wonderful and the room was very comfortable.

Terrific staff and breakfast. Just steps from the cliffwalk. Fireplace and big shower were great on the cold day we spent there.

A very nice hotel. Unfortunately we were in the Victorian Room, which is on the first floor right next to the main reception area and opposite the breakfast room. It was therefore very noisy and we could not sleep, especially after 7am. Thankfully we were relocated to a quieter room after two nights there. Avoid the Victorian Room if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in.

Great place! Staff was excellent, the room was 10/10 we stayed in the Cliff suite. The main house was comfortable
