DoubleTree by Hilton Olympia

Excellent service throughout - booking, check in, and staff. The room was super clean. The shower was exceptional.Pillows, always important for me, were comfy. The location is top notch and I had an excellent view. Price was reasonable for the city. I an grateful for the overall experience.

Good location, but facilities are a bit dated, and breakfast is not very good compared to hotels of similar class.

Advertised as on the harbor, it was actually two parking lots away from the harbor. The elevator was pathetic: small, slow, and dirty, and the landing was dirty. Bird crap on the windows and the view from the other window was gross; the rooftop was several floors below. The room was ok. TV sound and CC didn't work, and two attempts to ask for help resulted in nothing. On the plus side, the location was nice, the room was big and clean, and the front desk staff were nice.

The beds and pillows were comfortable and our room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!

What ruined our trip was the night staff. We returned from a sailboat trip at 9:40 and the parking lot was packed. Staff suggested we park near curb and trees but would block others in. When it was brought to his attention, he suggested we either wait 18 minutes for maintenance to leave or park on the street because it was free until 8am. We were traveling with two kids and neither was an option to me after paying $400 for one night and a van parked out front with people drinking and smoking were casually hanging out in spots. After having to argue with him, he finally said he would move his personal car from a spot. What bothered me most was where was that suggestion earlier? Why not park in the street to begin with since you’re leaving before 8am anyway. The rude responses of parking was “complimentary” and “first come first served” makes me never interested in using this company again.

The hotel was in a perfect location for walking around town. The room was very large and had a microwave and fridge. I would definitely stay there again.

We were in room 130, it was so noisy from the pool and the late night conversations from the workers at and in the near by maintenance rooms around our room, it was very hard to sleep.
