The room is very large, beautifully decorated, fully equipped with red wine, snacks, drinks, beer, and very unique decoration. Independent beach, professional and meticulous service, delicious food and wine, exquisite products. A very memorable stay. The most important thing is that all vegetables and eggs are from the farm in the hotel yard. The hotel has a total of 17 rooms, a team of nearly 150 people, and a one-to-one hotel manager service. It really feels like home. When you leave the hotel, you will be given exquisite preparations. I strongly recommend friends who choose Sangdao to experience Tulia

The characteristics of this hotel are comfortable rooms and all-inclusive catering that focuses on exquisite originality. However, there are not many limited options for each meal. The waiters are very enthusiastic. Special thanks to Kerui (maybe the spelling is wrong) at the front desk for helping us solve problems with other hotels. Thank you to the hotel for giving us a late check-out…

Unforgettable holiday and fantastic food! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Tulia Zanzibar. A special shout-out goes to the food, which was simply outstanding – every meal was a true culinary delight! Don't be afraid of the low tide here! Walking along the beach and the ocean floor during low tide is a beautiful experience in itself, and the sea always comes back before you know it. We highly recommend Tulia to everyone!

A beautiful, intimate series of bungalows with fabulous views of the Indian Ocean and terrific dining. The team working there were just amazing, so kind and helpful. Rooms were generous and in excellent condition.

If I have to summarise our experience in one word then it would be "Outstanding". From the moment we arrived till we left, we were offered a very personalised yet very private kind of attention. We concluded our Tanzania trip at Zanzibar. After 5 days of safari which was exhausting, Tulia was a breath of fresh air. The location is right on the beach with private access. Its a small hotel in middle of a vast green space. We stayed in the Luxury oceanfront villa which has views of expansive ocean and offers absolute privacy. This room is huge with a private deck and sitting area overlooking the ocean. The cleanliness is on the mark. They offer housekeeping services twice a day. The food is amazing with a new curated menu everyday. We are vegetarian and our menu used to be curated separately and both the chefs used to make sure in person that our dietary needs are very well taken care of. The surprise platter of snacks sent to me by the chef in the room was such a lovely gesture. Front office manager Mr. Andre took great care of us making our stay immensely pleasurable. The entire staff is dedicated to your services making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Every evening we used to have great fun at the bar. The bartenders are very friendly. All our dietary needs and demands were met, usual or unusual. The Tulia family is full of warmth and friendliness. They make you feel very welcome. You completely feel at home. The hotel is very well designed. I am in awe of their sustainability practices. They produce 85% of their fresh produce, have their own chicken and duck farm, in-house supply of water from well and minimum use of plastic. Joseph from the restaurant team took great care of us in making our meal very special and memorable The dinner time is like a celebration. They arrange some sort of entertainment every evening which is like very amazing and enjoyable. I will be grateful to Tulia family for such a memorable stay and wonderful experience. I highly recommend Tulia!!!

Our stay at Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort was the perfect way to unwind and conclude a truly special family trip. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was serene, private, and effortlessly luxurious. The resort itself is beautifully designed, with lush tropical surroundings and direct access to a pristine beach. Every space feels thoughtfully curated, offering both comfort and a sense of exclusivity. It’s the kind of place where you can completely relax while still enjoying a high level of personalized service. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding team. Michelle, the manager, leads with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. Her presence is felt in the smooth, attentive service throughout the resort. The dining experience was a highlight of our stay. The Le Petit Chef dinner was truly out of this world—creative, immersive, and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Head Chef Mgeni Mzima was outstanding and catered to our every request, going above and beyond to personalize meals for our group. This level of care made every dining experience feel special. A special thank you to the restaurant team—Zamda, Ezra, Simon, Lamadhan, Haluna, Amiliana, Lucas, Enoch, Joseph Vinton, and Joseph—who consistently delivered attentive and friendly service. Every meal felt relaxed yet refined, with great attention to detail. The broader team, including Emanuel, Adhil, Abdullah, and Steven, ensured everything ran seamlessly across the property. Their professionalism and willingness to assist with anything we needed made a real difference. At the bar, Guston and Sriman created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, crafting excellent drinks and adding to the overall experience with their friendly personalities. We would also like to recognize our driver, Abu Bhakar, who took excellent care of us throughout our time in Zanzibar. He was reliable, professional, and always made our transfers smooth and stress-free, which added greatly to the overall experience. Tulia Zanzibar offers a wonderful balance of tranquility, personalized service, and unique experiences. It was the ideal setting to relax, reflect, and celebrate time with family. We left feeling refreshed, well cared for, and grateful for the many memorable moments created by such a dedicated team.

⸻ ✨ “After the roar of the Serengeti, only one place could rise to the occasion: Tulia, the magical jewel of Zanzibar.” From the wild heart of the Serengeti to the serene shores of Zanzibar, Tulia welcomed us into a world of pure enchantment. Walking along the beach, surrounded by skies painted in magical colors, every step felt like poetry. The greetings of “Jambo jambo” and the heartfelt “Asante” reminded us that Hakuna Matata is not just a phrase here — it is a way of life. Tulia is a masterpiece of details: the sparkling pools, the lush tropical gardens, and above all the kindness, warmth, and privacy that make you feel at home in paradise. The most unforgettable gift was a romantic dinner prepared under the stars, with music, lights, and intimacy that turned the night into a memory we will treasure forever. ✨ And then, the hidden treasure: the gym. The most inspiring gym in the world — training here feels like luxury in motion, with nature all around and energy flowing like the ocean breeze. For us, fitness lovers, it was the ultimate dream. ️‍♀️ Tulia is not just a resort. It is magic, love, hospitality, and a sanctuary for the soul. Christophe and I will forever carry its beauty in our hearts. ❤️

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, after 8 nights at a different hotel and then straight to a safari, we wanted our final 3 nights to be complete relaxation and that is exactly what we got. The hotel grounds & layout is great. There are only 16 rooms which means the hotel is very quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. Sometimes it felt like we were the only guests at the hotel. The food is absolutely excellent. A la carte dining for 3 meals a day as well as snacks on top. My only complaint with the food was that vegetarian options for dinner (for my wife) felt like a bit of an after thought. Dinner was the one meal you didn’t get a choice as it was a set 5 course menu. When my wife would mention to the waiter that she was vegetarian, you could see a bit of a panic and then after reassuring us it was in hand, we would be surprised by a random meal as there wasn’t a vegetarian menu. I must stress again though, the food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were all great and friendly. There wasn’t anything that felt impossible with the staff, they would make absolutely everything happen. A special shoutout to Joseph, he was super friendly and loved a chat. The drinks were also tasty and the menu was huge. The barman would also make any drink we requested off menu too. The room was very modern and clean. Bed was comfy and the mini fridge was filled daily by the cleaners. The cleaners were great and came twice a day which was nice. My complaint with the room is with the mosquito net. It isn’t a 360 degree net as there is a gap between the back wall behind the bed and the net. This doesn’t make sense to me since this leaves opportunity for mosquitoes to bite during the night. The pool area is very nice and clean and feels integrated with the main areas of the hotel. Nothing spectacular but definitely aesthetic. Evening entertainment was always locally themed which was nice and was during dinner which was also a good idea. The spa (each guest gets a free first massage) was great, the masseuse was good at what she does and we both left feeling relaxed. One thing we didn’t know about the hotel was that it had its own farm which is integrated within the grounds. They grow alot of their own spices, fruit and vegetables. They also keep chickens & ducks for eggs and meat. Overall a great stay and we would definitely return in the future.

Tulia saved our Zanzibar experience and honeymoon after checking out of our previous hotel early. We were picked up and taken to a perfect paradise. Our bungalow was immaculate and everything had been thought of. A fully stocked mini bar which was complimentary and replaced daily, and room service at no extra cost. The bath is stunning and looks out over the ocean. The sun loungers on our patio was so comfy and the amenities in the room and on the decking are top quality. The resort is beautiful and we loved how sustainable it is: growing their own produce and filtering the water to be drinkable. They also have their own chicken and ducks for eggs! The staff go above and beyond and are an asset to the resort. We wanted for nothing and nothing felt like a hardship to them. The staff a clearly happy to be there. The food is top quality with a large range of options for a dietary needs. The pool is spacious, clean and the whole resort feels intimate even though it was at capacity. We highly recommend an afternoon on the water slides- what a touch! The staff were aware that we had left our previous hotel and it was our honeymoon. On our final night they surprised us with a private dinner in the beautiful gardens with our own waitress and music which was nothing but spectacular. Our only regret is that we didn’t go straight there to have more time in this very special place. Thank you so much Tulia!
