Tru by Hilton Portland Airport Area

We very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast buffet was very nice. Parking was ample. It was very close to many restaurants and shops. It did seem to be a little bit understaffed, especially at the front counter. I had a question about our fan in the bathroom and the lady working, the front counter was clueless. She didn’t know if there was a fan or not. I also watched somebody with a remote for the TV try to get help with the front counter and the counter employee spent a good five minutes, testing it out on different TVs in the lobby. I just felt like there should be someone else there to do that kind of thing as well as answer my question about the fan. But it appears to be difficult to staff these hotels as we heard from employees at a couple of hotels we stayed at that they were understaffed. But overall, very happy with our experience. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it.

The property looked very nice it was well maintained but the only issue I had was I was in a room for the hearing impaired and the back and it was road noise all night long. It was as though I was on the first floor instead of the third sitting in the street. It was that loud.

We stay here frequently when flying out of or into Portland, Maine. You can leave car and take shuttle to the airport.
