Hotel was very convenient and we had a great stay for the festival. However, it will be nicer if the public bath area is larger.

I went on my first hot spring trip to Yamaga with my family. Sumi Ryokan is very friendly, clean, and has a great location. I had a wonderful stay in a neat tatami room. The main bath is very clean, and the hot spring water quality is amazing—it feels incredibly slippery. It's a bit of a shame that there isn't an open-air bath, though. It was my first time trying Kaiseki, so I had it just for the experience, and it wasn't bad. If I stay at Sumi Ryokan again, I don't think I'll order Kaiseki. There are just so many local restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

The shower in the bathroom didn't work. The fish bones for dinner and the pickles for breakfast were very delicious.

야마가온천 이번에 1박하면서 진짜 여유있게 돌아봤는데 너무너무 좋았어요. 특히 스미료칸은 마을 어디든 걸어서 왔다 갔다 할 수 있을정도로 위치가 좋고, 직원분들이 너무 친절하세요. 한국 손님이 많지 않았던거 같은데, 제가 가는 날은 일부러 한국어 안내도 준비하셔서 제공해주셨어요. 식사도 맛있었고, 방도 깨끗하고 다 좋았지만 가장 놀랐던 건 온천이었습니다. 야마가온천 수질이 이렇게 좋았다니!! 완전 미끌미끌하고 피부가 보드라워지는게 바로 느껴져서 얼굴에도 찹찹 바르고 호사를 누렸네요~ 다음에 야마가온천 가면 또 스미 가고 싶어요~!
