The Royal Purnama Luxury Villas - Adults Only

This stay far exceeded our expectations. The hotel features its own tranquil black sand beach with a unique texture underfoot; it's uncrowded and peaceful, perfect for quietly gazing at the ocean. The pre-booked spa experience was exceptionally relaxing, with soothing techniques that melted away all travel fatigue in a tropical setting. All the staff members were warm, attentive, and prompt in their service, showing genuine sincerity in every detail. The culinary standard was top-notch, featuring fresh ingredients and rich flavors that made every meal deeply satisfying. The live music in the evening was a delightful surprise; the singer's voice was warm and captivating, creating an incredible atmosphere. There was also a traditional fire dance performance, with flickering flames adding a strong authentic Balinese touch. To top it all off, the hotel is adults-only, maintaining a quiet and relaxed ambiance completely free from noise and disturbance. It is ideal for guests looking for a peaceful getaway, some alone time, or a romantic couple's retreat. From the scenery and service to the dining and nighttime entertainment, every aspect showed meticulous care. It's a resort where you can truly unwind with total peace of mind, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Bali.

Pros: The surroundings are truly stunning and extremely spacious. The black sand beach is great for taking photos, the evening concert was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Someone even came by specifically for turndown service in the evening. Cons: The location is quite remote, so you basically have to dine at the hotel. The food was somewhat unpalatable, and for a Chinese palate, it offers poor value for money.

I'm satisfied. It's a small place, so it was quiet and I had a good rest. The Indonesian fried rice was delicious. If I come back to Bali next time, I'd consider staying here again.

Everything was great! The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even prepared a little surprise for my birthday with a small cake and some simple decorations. Definitely worth revisiting.

Except for the slightly older facilities, the bird droppings in the pool (and the birds chirping!), everything else was almost perfect. There were security guards outside, and every staff member on the grounds greeted you. It had direct access to the black sand beach, and the restaurant offered sea views. The spa was very comfortable. Only the steak wasn't good, but the crispy roasted pork was delicious. I'd give it a full score!

Overall, the room was very nice, with a private pool, perfect for a date. However, the location was quite far out. We could eat at the hotel's restaurant, but the food wasn't very good. Breakfast was à la carte, and we could only order one item. If we wanted more, we had to pay extra, which is different from other hotels where you can order multiple items. We received a free massage. The staff seemed quite curious about where we were from, asking twice. Regarding the general service, it felt like they weren't very welcoming to Asian tourists but were especially good to Western tourists.

A beautiful villa, a true paradise! 😍 It's clean, beautiful, and has everything you need. The only minor issue was that taxi drivers and delivery services were a bit particular, and sometimes we had to adjust the pick-up/drop-off point. The staff are polite and always ready to help with anything.
