Great staff, very friendly and helpful, superb beach front location with great access to bars and shops,  only let down by variable sea water quality, very good breakfast, large room, with good a/c and comfortable bed, nice pool and jacuzzi, enjoyed the fire show

This hotel is perfect - I would give it 11/10 if I could. It is a central location but quiet - so its a couple of minutes walk to bars or to the night market for food. The rooms are lovely and have air conditioning, there is a nice pool and the private beach is immaculate. If there are no beach beds available, they will put one out for you straight away - nothing is too much trouble for the staff there. The staff are amazing - friendly and professional. The breakfast is excellent, there is a lot of variety and choice and the cocktails are delicious. While we were there, there was a wedding at the hotel. The amount of care and preparation the staff put in was lovely - it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. In the unlikely event I ever get married - I would want it at this hotel after seeing how amazing it was. They set everything up on the beach and made it perfect for the family. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place - the hotel and the location is amazing, there are numerous trips and excursions that could be booked from there with pick up and drop off. I would 100% go there again and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Lamai has enough to do but is not as crazy as Chaweng - the island is paradise and the people are lovely. I have never felt so safe anywhere in the world. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Please be aware that the pictures shown are most definitely AI generated and aren’t a true reflection of the rooms. We booked a ‘garden view’ family room. The room was tired and overlooked a road. Shower curtain brown, aircon blows out black dirt all over the bed. The pool was dirty - full of leaves etc. we moved hotels after one night. Much nicer hotels in the area to choose from within a similar price range

The hotel is lovely overall and in a great location. The breakfast and rooms were excellent, and the beach is beautiful for swimming. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend staying here due to our experience with the reception staff at check-in. There was a mix-up with our booking—although the room name matched, the photos and description of the room we had booked via Trip did not reflect the room we were offered. The hotel acknowledged the discrepancy but refused to assist. It appeared that the issue stemmed from incorrect room descriptions and photos listed on Trip. We contacted Trip immediately, but they were unable to reach the hotel. In the end, Trip refunded us the difference (plus compensation), and we paid to “upgrade” the room. However, the hotel staff were completely unhelpful despite acknowledging the error. Their attitude was very disappointing. We asked to speak with a manager, but were told they were off duty and unavailable/didn’t want to talk to us—no alternative or acting manager was offered, which was surprising. For this reason, we wouldn’t stay here again unless customer service improves and the hotel takes more responsibility for issues arising from their listings with booking agents. Trip confirmed that the photos of the room and description have been updated. There are a few additional points worth noting. While the beach is lovely, there is occasionally some oil and significant rubbish (which we understand is not the hotel’s fault although they could make some effort to remove the litter). It would also be great if the pool opened earlier for morning swims and they could provide conditioner in the bathrooms (there are generous amenity trays but no conditioner). One major concern is the use of beanbags on the beach, which appear to leak polystyrene beads without any effort to contain them—this is quite harmful to the environment. Improved table cleaning would also help reduce the number of flies. When we came down for breakfast the tables were laid but also full of crumbs (even if we were the first ones). The hotel has MANY signs stating that reserving sunbeds is not allowed and that unattended towels will be removed after 30 minutes. We respected this policy, but unfortunately many guests ignored it—reserving sunbeds early and leaving belongings there all day, even when not present. No action was taken by staff, which made it difficult for others to find available seating. Either the policy should be enforced or removed, as it currently puts compliant guests at a disadvantage. Overall, while the rooms, breakfast, and location in Lamai are hard to beat, the lack of customer service and poor policy enforcement significantly impacted our stay. If these issues could be addressed it would be a fabulous place to stay!

This became our favourite hotel in Koh Samui — and in all of Thailand. It’s absolutely stunning, with a beautiful traditional Thai vibe throughout. We especially loved the carp pond, and we were lucky enough to have it right outside our room, making it a lovely sight to enjoy each day. The pool area is wonderful, and with the hotel located right on the beachfront, you can easily move between the pool and the sea. Neither area ever felt crowded, and we could always find a lounger. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered plenty of storage, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful — we can’t thank them enough for making our stay so special. The location is perfect too, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and just a short walk to the Lamai Night Market, which we highly recommend for fantastic food. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, and the staff were kind enough to prepare a breakfast bag for our early morning flight. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would 100% revisit on our next trip to Koh Samui.

The hotel has a private beach, a swimming pool, the location is great, there are a lot of restaurants and massage places near the restaurant. Lamai night market also is a walking distance. The restaurant by the beach is great, we enjoyed the breakfast by the sea, the prices at the restaurant are a bit pricey but having a coconut juice by the beach is worth it. The amenities overall were good, 4 stars for cleanness because the air con was dirty inside out. The dust was visible on the top of AC and the air wasn’t fresh.

Perfect hotel if you want to be quiet and rest. Good breakfast. Very clean and spacious rooms. (I recommend a villa) pool and beach with many sun loungers. And very good massages inside the hotel. The beach is very good and quiet, many places to eat and drink near the hotel.

The hotel isn't bad. You can tell it's a bit old, and they're constantly doing some repairs. The room has everything you need. The hotel has its own beach. The sea, however, was a disappointment; it was wavy every single day. The shower in the bathroom is old, and the water pressure isn't great. On the first day, the water drained slowly, but it seemed okay after that. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is served by the sea, and the selection barely changes. Everything you need is within walking distance. But we won't be returning here a second time.

Great hotel by the beach! Our room was more towards the street rather than beachfront but it was a great central location and the room was huge and beautiful! Great air conditioning and a nice patio with 2 chairs and a table for us to enjoy our coffee. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and available 24 hours. We checked in late at 10pm so this was a nice feature to have them on site!
