This was my first Club Med experience, and I had a fantastic time at Turkoise. The setting is stunning - the beach & Grace Bay are beautiful. The resort has a long beach front so it doesn't feel crowded, and the pool is large and overlooks the ocean. The resort isn't big, so it never takes long to get anywhere and nothing was too crowded or overwhelming. I thought the food was excellent, and I appreciated the buffet style - it made it easy to try a variety of things, the food was quite varied from day to day, and there was rarely a wait to approach any station. The variety of activities was great - I enjoyed yoga overlooking the beach, the daily snorkeling trips, and fitness classes. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation with options for activities and food, and it met that exactly: the overall feeling at the resort was relaxed, friendly, and accessible. If you wanted more, I think it could be that too - there were activities & shows every night. The only downside to the resort is the rooms. They are basic and very much in need of updating - they just felt tired and a bit dingy. They're clean and functional (storage space was good), and I don't think this would stop me from returning, but it's the only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5.
