La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stonington-Mystic Area

The room and property itself were fine. The room was clean but the air conditioner when kicked on definitely gave off a mildew smell. The attendant during morning breakfast muttered some things under her breath about how busy it was and the rate at which she was having to restock items. There were signs all over regarding quiet hours, which gave me an odd feeling but when I put my kids to bed around 8:30/9pm everything was fine. Unfortunately right around 12:30am I started hearing slamming doors, hard pounding on doors, and very loud voices nearby. I thought maybe people were checking in and it would settle down quickly. Honestly it sounded like furniture was being moved and even like there was a scuffle among a few people within the room it was coming from. 2 hours later, it finally quieted down and I was able to fall asleep. Fortunately for my kids, we bring a sound machine everywhere since they are young but I would not recommend staying here on a Friday night if you are a light sleeper. I felt trapped being a single mom and I couldn't call the front desk out of fear that it would wake my kids. When we left our room the next morning the neighboring hotel door (where I assume all the noise was coming from) was propped open by the dead bolt and clearly the person inside was sleeping.

We had a great stay for one night. Good/cheap place to book if you’re looking to travel to Misquamicut

I was beyond surprised and extremely pleased with this hotel! It smelled clean and the rooms were very much to my cleanliness standards. Excellent review deserved.

We have been staying at this LaQuinta for years, and it is a reliably clean, quiet hotel in a good location. The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast..waffles, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs and jimmy dean sausage and cheese muffins that you can microwave..the coffee isn’t bad..what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. It’s close to the town of westerly, Rhode Island, mystic and westerly beaches.

The overall place was nice looking and clean. Staff were just ok. BUT the bed was as hard as sleeping on the pavement! It was awful! I will never stay there again. My husband and I got very little sleep and got up with the worst backache we have ever had. Also, the sheets and blankets were awful not what we are accustomed to. And for $360 a night I definitely expect more!

2 night stay with family. Comfortable beds and clean room. Outdoor seating area good for tackle games with the family. Pool was cool, but refreshing. Good breakfast selection and replenished often.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of the positives for me was the strong shower. Too often hotels use flow restrictors, so this was a nice change. The breakfast was good as well.

The girl at the front desk gave us a great dinner idea that was local and we all loved it! Breakfast was good! Beds were great!!

great breakfast, super clean rooms , very close to where we where going, friendly staff, especially the front desk blonde women who i forgot her name
