9 Brick Hotel

Clean and tidy, and very close to the entrance of Hongik University Station. The area is safe, and I would definitely stay here again.

Location is great in hongdae, room size is only fit 2 people in my opinion. Room is abit too small for 3 person(a couple and 2 year old toddler).

Dirty hotel with a broken AC. Hairs in bed and stains all over, including in the bathroom. You will find black mold. The staff doesn't care and will lie to your face.

I booked 9 Brick Hotel on the same day I was checking in, due to issues with my prior accommodation and needing to transfer immediately. Booking was fast and easy. I got there around 11am with my luggage, hoping to just leave them and return for check-in. Upon arrival, the receptionists were very helpful. I showed them my reservation and gave my passport so they can process my booking. They took my luggage for storage and provided me with a claim stub. Upon return, they checked me in, gave me my keycard and handed my luggage. I was so pleased with the room. It was spacious, had this chic yet laid back design. There was an area to hang clothing, a nice lounge chair with a low table, large television, and of course the bathroom area! I appreciate the huge counter and vanity, the separate shower, bathtub and Japanese toilet area (that's so unique because it's overlooking Hongdae!!!). They provided 2 bottles of water, and also a hygiene kit. Little details like the shoe horn and indoor slippers are always great to have. I had such a comfortable and restful stay, which was much needed especially in the humid July weather. It's a couple of blocks away from the nearest Hongdae Station exit 9, but very near to a bus stop where the Airport Limousine 6002 also stops by. It's super close to the heart of what I'd call old school Hongdae, which is the side where the main street is, and is also halfway to to Hapjeong. As someone who's been visiting Seoul and staying at accommodations in Hongdae since 2007, you can't go wrong with 9 Brick Hotel, and making Hongdae your home base! Would definitely stay again.

A bit far away if you take airport railway, but close the shopping area, cozy room with nice view, staffs were helpful too.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at 9 Brick Hotel! Amazing location in the heart of Hongdae, clean rooms, comfy bed, and everything we needed was within walking distance. Great choice for anyone visiting Seoul.

Location is good, close to subway and Hongdae shopping street.

Very good location, near Hongdae Main Street, walkable distance to convenient stall and train station. But too bad the hotel room doesn’t have a window, have weird smell every time enter the room. And the bed sheet is not very clean, got stain and feeling itchy as well. Will not come back again for the cleanliness.
