Sunworld Hotel

During my stay with family at the Sunworld Hotel in Beijing, I really enjoyed my stay. In the 7 days we stayed in April, I had quite the utmost quality of every hotel in the district. The twin room we stayed was very nice with 2 queen size beds that can be joined together to form a very spacious bed fit for a couple and a kid. The interior of the room was recently renovated with comfy beds and well deaigned bathroom. I would like to thank the cleaning lady on the 8th floor who would systematically clean rooms with the best quality experience, each day. Next, about the food for breakfast. I really enjoyed the food they offer at the hotel buffet, with lots of really cool options, such as noodles cooked on the spot, bread, fruit with watermelon and banana, and yogurt. I also appreciate the location of the hotel, with the site near the major sites, such as the Wangfujing shopping district, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Jingshan Park. I recommend this hotel because it is close to two metro stations in Beijing, Line 8's Jinyu Hutong and Line 5's Dengshikou, and the facilities are very high quality. It will be more perfect to include a running machine in the fitness room.

- location is not directly accessible to the metro stn, have to walk 10-15mins to the nearest metro stn - there is a convenience store and some eateries opp the hotel - Wangfujing shopping street is 5-10mins away from the hotel - front desk service can be improved, we asked for assistance to setup the ******* delivery address but the front desk lady staff doesn’t seem really helpful - hotel parcel storage service is good, their shelving system is grouped by the diff courier companies, parcels can be easily located - hotel food robot require a local China mobile number, not really user friendly to foreigners without a local number, have to head down to the lobby to collect our food delivery ourselves - housekeeping service is good with friendly locals - hotel has a drop off/pick up point right outside of the lobby, good for elderlies

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well maintained, making it a perfect place to rest after a long day. What made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service, especially from Mr. Liu Gang. He went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable. He thoughtfully prepared items we didn’t even request, such as a deep pillow, children’s toothpaste, and children’s slippers. It was such a pleasant surprise and showed great attention to detail. He also consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care really made a difference and made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back again!

Clean hotel located close to wangfujing. There are many restaurants by and close to metro. Although modern there were no USB ports in the room, unlike other hotels so an adaptor us required

My stay at Sunworld Hotel was unfortunately very disappointing due to multiple hygiene and service issues. Firstly, there was a clear inconsistency in housekeeping standards. On check-in, the room had three hand towels but no bath mat. When I called housekeeping, I was told to use one of the “extra” hand towels as a bath mat. This is frankly unacceptable and unhygienic — there is no way for guests to know whether those towels had previously been used on the floor. Cleanliness was also a major concern. There were flies in the bathroom, and I found hair on the bed that clearly did not belong to me. This raises serious questions about the room preparation process. The breakfast experience was equally poor. The food quality was terrible — most items were cold and unappetising. Tea was served using two Lipton tea bags that were repeatedly topped up with hot water, resulting in a very diluted drink. More concerning was the hygiene practice — only used utensils were cleared, while “unused” ones were left on the table for the next guest, which is not appropriate. Lastly, I requested a simple 30-minute late check-out, but was told to leave a positive review in exchange. This is highly unprofessional and undermines the credibility of guest feedback. Overall, the experience fell short in cleanliness, food quality, and service standards. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The location is unbeatable being around the corner from wangfujing pedestrian street. The hotel was clean and the front staff were very helpful!

Always stay in this hotel whenever i come to Beijing. Good location and room is nice

The room was spotlessly clean upon arrival and throughout our stay. The staff provided warm, attentive service with quick responses to every request. Free laundry and 10 mins walk to Wangfujing street.
