Sunworld Beijing Wangfujing Hotel (The Forbidden City)

The TV didn't work, neither the phone so when we needed something I need to go down to reception. Most hotels in China have robot room service, in this one you need to go to reception to pick up your lunch. Bathroom has no shower door, some corners where dirty

The housekeeping lady on 8th floor was kind and always made sure to top up water and throw rubbish as I didn’t need my room cleaned everyday. The location was excellent and short walk and there’s a nice halal Lanzhou Beef noddle shop across the road and a fruit seller either outside the hotel or across the road in front of 7-11. A good spot to get some fruits after dinner.

Amazing location close to all the popular attractions, you can actually walk to the forbidden city, Wangfujing road just around the corner and shopping centre nearby makes a place worth staying. Metro line is nearby, which is more efficient to catch a public transport. Felt really safe as a solo traveller.

The location was excellent. However, the room felt quite stuffy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is my second stay at this hotel. The view remains wonderful and the service is really good. What makes us come back is the excellent security. The team cares about every guest and goes all out to satisfy their needs. Exploring Wangfujing on foot is also very convenient from here, and it’s easy to get to other locations too.
