Absolutely LOVE this hotel. A FAR cry from the hotels in Manhattan. What a difference in terms of space. The space, the decor, the vibe, the feeling of being welcome to a 'home' away from home. Reminds me of The Royal Sonesta in Houston which I absolutely love very much.
Greatly appreciate the spaciousness, twin beds, ample storage space for the luggage, a large and wide office table to work on & put everything. Large, functional bathroom. Lifts are fast and there aren't many floors. Large functional fitness centre with TRX. Only 'drawback' is the HVAC system, unable to just leave the fan blowing. The AC recycles ON OFF which can be a bit irritating, wish I had brought my personal fan! Small minor inconvenience, but the AC works well when it is ON.
Appreciated the fact that the 'great breakfast' includes $30/person to be spent at the French Bistro next door (the hotel does not have its own restaurant). But what a surprise. Great food, cool ambience, and friendly service by the head server (can't recall his name).
