Nice hotel. Very close to the beach

When this hotel first opened, I’m sure it must have been absolutely stunning, because you can still see the potential it once had. Unfortunately, today it feels neglected and is clearly being allowed to deteriorate. The entire property has an almost deserted, ghost-hotel feeling. Staff are extremely scarce, and getting someone to assist you can be very difficult. There is no functioning restaurant, despite what you may expect from a property like this, and there aren’t even basic coffee sachets provided in the rooms. Housekeeping is another major issue. Our room was not cleaned unless we actively went looking for someone and specifically asked for it to be done. Maintenance throughout the property is poor — so many things are broken, worn out, poorly repaired, or quite literally feel as though they are being held together with hopes and dreams. There was also an area of the hotel where the atmosphere and activity did not feel particularly family-friendly, which made us uncomfortable. The saddest part is that this place genuinely has the potential to be beautiful. The structure and original design are there, but it desperately needs proper management, maintenance, staffing and care. At the moment, it feels as though the owners and management are simply allowing it to fall into ruin. For the price being charged, there are far better hotels in the area offering much better service, cleanliness, amenities and overall experience for the same price — or even less. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here in its current condition. With the right investment and management, it could once again be an amazing property, but right now it simply does not offer the standard or value that guests should expect.

Lovely hotel room with loads of space, just needed a bit of upkeep as it was showing its age. Lovely stay but you will need a bike to get to places from here. Pool was clean and views were amazing. Wanted to go paddle boarding but it was deflated but the canoe was great

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and when we arrived the male staff memeber was lovely and helpful with our belongings up to our room. When we arrived we noticed that the building and hotel was very very run down and appeared to be very dated and looked nothing like the pictures shown when booking. There was no lift which wasn’t massive for us but could be for someone else with larger luggage. As we went up to the room on the first floor we walked across a decking like bridge which had obvious breaks and missing parts of the wood and did not feel sturdy. When we got into our room it was big enough for us but again was very dated and the doors were just two patio like doors (not much security especially when leaving belongings inside the room). During the first day of checking in the toilet was leaking and was not flushing - we raised this with the man at the hotel and he said he will get someone to come and fix this but did not give us a time or anything to when this would be happening. Also had a power cut during the first night which lasted up to 5 minutes and left us with no lights to see in the room. We went out for the day and when we came back someone had been in the room but again no one give us a time or anything and this made us feel slightly uneasy as we had strangers come into our room without our knowledge (we would of been absolutely fine if someone would of told us a time/date of when they was coming) Around the 2nd day the AC stopped working, we went down to the ‘reception’ (was just a room next too other bedrooms) and there was no one there, my partner went and spoken with the security man outside and he kindly came up to the room and said he will turn off the electricity for the room and it should be restart it, he did this and it worked for a few hours and then stopped again. We settled without it for the night as again there was no staff present. The next morning the sink broke and the plug was stuck not allowing us to drain water of the sink. my partner and I went down to the reception and was 3 women sat in the room and we explained the issue with the AC and the sink and all 3 of the women stood and stared at us very uncomfortably and began to speak in Thai, myself and my partner reiterated the issue as we thought it may be a language barrier but they began laughing at us and said ‘dont know’ and continued to mess around with their watches. We again said about the issue and then a lady came up to the room and said she will get someone to come up to the room to sort out the AC - again did not say when or a time of when this was happening so I explained that I would like a staff member to go up to the room with the engineer to ensure nothing goes missing. Myself and my partner were also very dubious with regards to bed bugs as throughout our whole stay in Thailand we had not been bitten once and then we have left the hotel with a lot of bites and only seem to have been bitten when we was in bed during the day/night Throughout our stay we was made to feel very uncomfortable by the female staff members as they would constantly laugh and stare and speak in Thai every time we went passed. Overall the stay was NOT worth the amount we paid for and would not stay again .

AVIOD.... Awful. Place looks nothing like the pictures. Filthy dirty, smelt auful, smoke mixed with old and just dirty. And there was only us there. No maid came by the room, in the 4 days. Even though they were sat in the office on the phones for the duration of our stay. The full place needs a good clean and fix. We paid for a more expensive room for a bath, however we couldn't fill it as plug was broke. And when we shown the receptionist. She just said maintenance and thst was it. Nobody came to fix it. So very disappointed in our stay. Would not recommend as it looks nothing like the pictures.

Love the swimming pool and the bathtub!

First the good thing the room was clean, but we had a lot if issues with the room we knew there was a bar at the hotel but the music was blasting so loud that we could not sleep until 6 in the morning and it did not help that our aircon also did alot of annoying sounds + the doors always have open gaps and people can see trough the curtains, hair dryer not working and you dont have a door for the toilett so no privacy this did not feel like a hotel.

Location is nice and quiet . Room is good for us but the AC is not good. Make some noise all night and then leaked water from it. Other than that we’re happy with the hotel. We spent good time here.
