The Okura Prestige Bangkok

The staff are polite, the gym is spacious and well-equipped, and the pool offers a fantastic view. The rooms are large, and the cleanliness is exceptional. The hotel's location is super convenient with a skybridge connecting directly to the BTS station, and there's a convenience store downstairs. Plus, there are two large shopping malls nearby with plenty of dining options. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on my trip to Bangkok. First, I have to praise the environment – it's not directly next to the Skytrain, so it was surprisingly quiet at night, which is really rare in Bangkok. The decor reminds me of some high-end Japanese hotels; it's a bit older but very well-maintained. The guy at check-in was incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room to a suite, which I sincerely appreciate, haha. The suite came with a super-sized bathtub, almost like a small swimming pool! There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so you don't even have to leave the building, which is really convenient. They also have an infinity pool, perfect for lounging by if you don't feel like swimming. Free fruit was provided in the room. The only minor quibble I had was with the air conditioning control screen by the bed; it was a bit finicky to use.

Good day. The hotel is a bit tired and definitely doesn't live up to 5 stars, but by Asian standards, especially for Bangkok, it's acceptable. The breakfast was decent. The view from the pool was of a construction site when we stayed there (from July 7th to 9th, 2026).

If you love Japanese-style hotels in Thailand, this is the one with the best value for money, in my opinion. You absolutely have to try their Japanese breakfast. Both times I've stayed here, the room type I booked was being cleaned, so I got upgraded to a suite. The suites are very spacious, and the staff and their service are excellent.

I've stayed here several times now, and it's so convenient because you don't even have to go outside to get to it from the station. There's also a 7-Eleven in the same building. The toilets have bidets.
