Family-Friendly Ryokan Experience
Nanzenji Yachiyo Kyoto
Japanese ryokan carry on the traditional culture of families sharing daily life together.
We hope you will enjoy the experience of sleeping and dining together with your family during your stay.
At Nanzenji Yachiyo, we warmly welcome families and offer special plans for children.
Depending on the child’s age, we can prepare different types of meals such as Japanese set meals, children’s plates, special dishes based on the child’s preferences, or baby food upon request.
Our Wagyu Sukiyaki dinner is very popular with international guests, and the number of tables available each evening is limited.
If you would like to enjoy this special Kyoto dining experience, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
When I was a child, I remember staying at a ryokan with relatives—taking baths together, sharing hot pot meals, and sleeping side by side on futons.
These memories came back to me when we began planning family travel experiences at our ryokan.
When visiting Kyoto, many travelers spend most of their time sightseeing, and there is often little time to relax at the accommodation.
Even so, we hope to help families create warm memories during their stay.
Although our ryokan is a historic building, our staff strives to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests.
