If it was possible to leave zero stars, I would put it that way. So, one of the most expensive hotels on the island claims to be a suite. Initially, the hotel was booked for 7 days, then we realized at the moment that we could not withdraw money from the card in the Maldives, the amount of cash was limited. We explained this, asked for permission to stay for 3 nights, and then we will move to another hotel. They said no problem, we'll think about what to do. We were taken to the room... in the best hotel on the island, the whole bathroom is covered with ants, the smell of dampness knocks you down, the shower is clogged, and the lamps do not work, a heavy metal frame from the switches falls on the head, a ton of dust under the bed... In the evening we were already offered the option of either leaving now or moving to their other for the amount we talked about in the morning. My husband went to another hotel in the evening, but the manager was no longer there, so we couldn't check in, we were stunned when we arrived. Now we had to stay in the hotel for 3 nights for a price higher than agreed, and if we leave now, we still have to pay for 3 nights. That's what the managers from Male just decided. This is the most disgusting experience we've ever had. Please do not consider it for accommodation, you will ruin your vacation! Reality has nothing to do with reality at all, the staff tries hard to be helpful, but reality is deplorable

It was our second visit with our family. Beautiful, quiet and serene hotel! All the staff - from the hotel manager, chefs, housekeepers and all staff including the excursion captions and his colleagues made us feel at home! The dolphin watching cruise, innafushi island trip, Etc did not disappoint! The kids have been planning for another come back 😊

If you’re like me and thought the Maldives was only for hyper expensive, overwater bungalows costing thousands per night, then you’re in for a treat. Island Luxury Hotel is a small, locally-run boutique hotel on Fuhlhadoo Island, which is a small, out-of-the-way island not on the tourist track. The staff and thoughtful and charming. It’s so small that it can be quirky and some parts are basic. But in exchange for that, you feel like you’re on your own island with only locals. I think I saw six other tourists during the two days I was there. Perfect for someone looking for an affordable, local Maldivian experience with personable, charming staff. Not perfect for someone looking for all the resort amenities, like multiple restaurants and a spa or fitness centre. Thank you especially to Rayya and Mathyn. Highly recommended!

We had a great and very peacefull time in the hotel. We had a welcome at the airport thanks to Rayya. The hotel is beautiful, most of the furniture is made out of solid wood. The chef Janith serves best-class, very delicious meals. The food is not only tasty but also very esthetic. The atmosphare in the hotel is very nice thanks to the staff. The Island is very quite apart from the time of the payers. Joanna
