The Royal Garden Kowloon East

First, they gave us an old-style room on the 32nd floor with a musty smell. After calling to request a change, they finally moved us to a newly renovated room on the 35th floor, which had no smell, but the showerhead was rusty... This is a first in my life for a room costing over 1,300 RMB. It was too late to change rooms again, and there was no compensation. The lobby also smelled musty, lacking the signature aromatherapy scent and fresh air that standard hotels have. The view was nice, there was no noise, and the location is close to Tseung Kwan O MTR station and the shopping mall.

The hotel has a great location, right next to the MTR station—literally just steps away as you exit. Such a location is hard to come by in Hong Kong. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and have always been very satisfied. However, I found the breakfast service lacking this time, as they frequently failed to replenish items in a timely manner.

For my second night in Hong Kong, I chose a newly opened hotel. There are actually two Royal Garden hotels in Hong Kong, and I booked the wrong one at first! The new hotel has very clean decor and spacious rooms. Overall, it offers good value for money. Be sure to buy the butterfly pastries downstairs—they are truly delicious.

The room is considered quite spacious for Hong Kong. The promotional price was great, and the included breakfast was very hearty. We missed the shuttle bus, but the long-distance bus back to Shenzhen is right outside the door, which is very convenient.

It's quite rare to find a room this spacious in a Hong Kong hotel. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the surrounding area is very convenient with plenty of great dim sum spots nearby. The hotel facilities are also relatively new. Highly recommended!

Convenient location with shuttle service from West Kowloon to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a top choice for a visit to Hong Kong.
