Loews Arlington Hotel

This is the best choice if you want to watch the World Cup or baseball games. AT&T Stadium is a 7-minute walk away, and the Texas Rangers stadium is right across the street from the hotel. There are many bars nearby, but not many restaurant options. As for the hotel itself, the lobby service is good, especially the staff at the 1F Italian restaurant, who provide excellent and warm service. The room size is also sufficient. I requested a room directly facing AT&T Stadium, and the view was absolutely amazing. I seriously give it a 5-star recommendation!

To experience the atmosphere outside the stadium during the World Cup, I booked this hotel on short notice, which cost 1.5 times more than usual. The hotel was well-equipped and considered high-end, with a swimming pool, gym, and Western restaurant. The rooms were spacious, and I could see fans entering the stadium from my room. The hotel lobby and the large screen were packed with fans watching the game together, which was quite enjoyable. It provided a spectacular visual feast of a lively off-field experience. Room rates skyrocketed that day, and seeing such a magnificent scene for the first time made me feel a pang of regret for my wallet 👛. It's very close to the stadium, but the downside is that it's far from the city center, making taxis expensive.

The service during the World Cup was terrible. They didn't even call the children to their bedsides, yet they dared to call themselves a family-friendly hotel. The most outrageous thing was that even though I had already paid for the room on Ctrip, the hotel charged me again—a whopping $1900 USD!!! If I hadn't checked my bank statement, I would have lost 14,000 RMB. They claimed it was an accidental mistake, but offered no compensation or apology. Garbage hotel, garbage service.
