Ziyue Minghu Hotel

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having breakfast delivered to our room. The staff were all so gentle and accommodating, patiently helping us with any requests we had. The hotel itself has a charming, antique feel, and its location is perfect – just a stone's throw from the East Gate of Daming Lake, making it incredibly convenient to visit and stroll around the scenic area for free. Our room had a smart toilet that worked perfectly. The front desk lady, dressed in a beautiful Hanfu, was so lovely and gave us plenty of water and drinks, which was a real lifesaver in the hot summer weather. All in all, everything was fantastic.

Traveling with family, the location is excellent. The decor is charmingly antique and elegant, the room is spacious, the service is warm and friendly, and the food is very satisfying. It's right by Daming Lake, so we could just stroll over to enjoy the lake!

It's incredibly convenient whether you want to stroll around the lake and enjoy the lotus flowers during the day or wait for the night views in the evening. Plus, transportation, dining, and shopping nearby are all hassle-free. The hotel features an elegant new Chinese style, offering a quiet and serene environment, completely free from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the mattress is just the right firmness, and the soundproofing at night is excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The amenities are very well-appointed; the toiletries are high-quality, the minibar drinks are complimentary, and they even deliver fresh fruit – thoughtful details that make a difference. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, and any requests were promptly addressed. Even with the sounds of morning exercises by the lake, the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs, showing attention to every detail. Overall, my stay was comfortable and relaxing. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Jinan.

The location is excellent, right by the entrance to Daming Lake, and transportation is convenient. The power outlets in the room weren't great. We got an upgraded duplex, but the bed upstairs wasn't very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic with a great ambiance – there were even peacocks! The photography session provided by the hotel was professional, and the makeup was well done. Thank you for taking such beautiful pictures of my child. Every shot was so good it was hard to choose! Thank you for your patience!

The only slight downside is that it's in a scenic area, so it can be a bit noisy in the mornings and evenings, which affected my sleep a little. I really liked it and will definitely come back. Thanks to the lovely ladies at the front desk; they made me feel right at home.

The perfect blend of solid wood, ink wash elements, and warm lighting avoids tacky, overly traditional decor. The lobby teahouse is tranquil and elegant, offering serene spots for photos everywhere. The moment you step in, travel fatigue melts away – it’s a truly healing oasis of calm amidst the bustle. The guest rooms are spacious and airy, with immaculate cleanliness and no strange odors. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and is equipped with a smart toilet. The mini-bar, with its complimentary Coke, mineral water, and fresh fruit, shows incredible generosity in the details. I thought it might be noisy in the mornings due to its proximity to the park, and earplugs were thoughtfully provided, but they weren't needed at all. It was quiet and elegant, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. Service was another huge plus. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they proactively offered welcome hot tea and helped with luggage. Staff members would greet us whenever we met them, and any requests were promptly handled. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was more than sufficient, and I appreciated how clean and hygienic this approach felt. The breakfast environment was comfortable and elegant, served in private rooms, where we could even spot two peacocks through the window. There's also a Shandong cuisine restaurant on the first floor, and their braised sea cucumber with scallions is highly recommended!
