Akara Hotel Pattaya

This was my first stay at Akara Hotel Pattaya, and I'll definitely be back! The hotel is sleek, stylish, and incredibly clean. The staff are all so friendly and provide excellent service. The valet parking is super convenient. They also offer an Onsen Package which is wonderfully relaxing. You can go up to the 24th floor where the Barracuda Sky Gala bar & pool is located – the views are amazing and it's very chill, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend Akara Hotel Pattaya; you won't be disappointed! 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The power in my room went out, and I couldn't sleep because it was so hot in the middle of the night. The elevator was also out of service.

The environment was good and the breakfast was decent. I guess I was just unlucky though, as the power went out while I was taking a bath when I got back to the hotel in the early hours. It's right next to Terminal 21 and just two streets away from the beach.

This place is super close to the beach, just about a ten-minute walk. There's a 7-Eleven and a large shopping mall right downstairs, which is really convenient. Catching a 'Songthaew' (shared taxi) from the roundabout downstairs is also easy, and it's quite close to the Pattaya North Station. Overall, it's a great spot! The infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos, though the glass could use a cleaning – there were some rain streaks. The service was pretty good; they had staff who spoke Chinese, and they were very patient with me despite my somewhat halting English.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the 21 Mall. However, the lobby on the 7th floor felt a bit cramped. The soundproofing is incredibly poor! If you're a light sleeper, I highly recommend against booking this hotel! You can clearly hear the TV from next door! Coincidentally, my neighbor loves watching TV, and I couldn't fall asleep until 3 AM. The cleanliness is absolutely terrible! The towels were still wet when they were placed in the room for our use! After opening and rinsing them, they were very dirty, making them unusable. The room felt more like a budget hotel in China, and the bathroom didn't have a wet/dry separation.

The location is good, and the room has an open view. There are also many great restaurants nearby. The only downsides are that the massage parlors and the beach are a bit far. However, Pattaya's main areas aren't too spread out, so walking a bit is perfectly fine for sightseeing.

The rooms are clean and tidy, the location is good, the staff provides excellent service, and the facilities are comprehensive.
