Akara Hotel Pattaya

The hotel is located in the excellent location with serviceminded staff. Nice rooftop view to enjoy the sunset.

Akara Hotel Pattaya feels luxurious and has a great range of facilities. Complimentary onsen access was a lovely bonus included in our stay! The staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, close to Terminal 21, the beach, bus station, and tourist attraction (Sanctuary of Truth). A great choice for a relaxing stay in Pattaya. Highly recommended!

Overall, the hotel was good, but our check-out experience was extremely disappointing. A front desk staff member named Peng claimed that we had consumed a packet of drinks from the minibar, even though we had never opened the fridge and had no way of knowing how many drinks were originally inside. We clearly explained that if we had consumed it, we would have admitted it without hesitation, as it was such a small expense. However, the staff member’s attitude was rude and accusatory, as if we were lying. What upset us was not the cost of a drink, but the lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. The entire experience made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we even felt that we were treated unfairly because we were Asian guests who spoke Chinese. We hope the management takes this matter seriously and improves its staff’s attitude to ensure that every guest is treated with respect.
