The bathrobes were dirty, but they did give a small cake for my birthday. The restaurant service during breakfast and dinner felt a bit mismanaged and chaotic. Everything else was okay.

The food selection at the restaurant was quite limited, and the same went for breakfast. For dinner, only the buffet was available in person, but you could order à la carte via room service or online, which seemed a bit unreasonable. It was also hard to get through to room service by phone, and the online menu on the TV had issues. After finally placing an order, it took a very long time to arrive, and by then, the food was cold. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

Had a really chill and enjoyable family trip at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast. Big plus is the direct access to Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark — super convenient, especially with kids. Just a heads up: if you book through Trip.com, it might not come with the free waterpark tickets. Booking direct with the hotel usually includes them. The pool is on the smaller side and there’s no private beach, which was a bit of a letdown at first. But they do provide a free buggy service to the beach at The Westin Desaru Coast Resort, which makes up for it. Food was pretty good overall — I especially liked the Malaysian dishes, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. At night, there’s a live band and the vibe is really nice. We enjoyed that a lot. Would recommend 👍

Staff very friendly and helpful. Buggy service to Desaru beach at Westin hotel. Free shuttle bus services cover desaru ferry terminal to Singapore ferry terminal.having great stay at hotel!

Checkin was smooth, breakfast spread was great. 2 double bed was spacious enough for my family of 4. Best part of the hotel is that it's direct access to adventure waterpark! My room face the waterpark and my kids were so excited! The staff even kindly help to decorate the room for my husband's birthday. Much appreciated!

The room is big, the swimming pool is nice and clean. It will be better if the standard of food can be better, and have more varieties for the breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly.
