Hidden Hotel (Shanghai People's Square Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Branch)

Room was overall clean. And spacious for a couple. Liked the layout with handwashing area separate from the toilet and shower room. The teabags provided were tasty. The breakfast spread was rather good. And service was good too. The pictures of the room by trip.com are accurate. Outside the hotel had plenty of good food and nice walkways.

Was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Well-designed and extremely comfortable, had all the facilities and luxuries I would expect and then some. The staff was the crème de la creme. Without a doubt, every single one went above and beyond to help me with every request, whether it was circumnavigating the complexities of meitaun/online delivery, finding the best restaurants, cleaning/servicing the room. Will definitely return to this perfect hotel. I felt so taken care of even when I wasn’t feeling my best and needed extra comfort & care.

Hotel located at a very strategic location. The receptionist 米兰 provided very good service. With laifen hair dryer and surprisingly good. Would definitely book this hotel again upon my return to Shanghai.

The room was very clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The location was fantastic, right opposite 南京路步行街 and within walking distance of 外滩. 人民广场地铁站 was also just nearby, making it super convenient to explore the city. Special thanks to the staff for the thoughtful magnet souvenir! Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

This is my second stay in this hotel and I feel amaze with the service provided by the receptionist. They have been rather helpful in everything. Location is also right next to Nanjing road

The stay has been really good. I checked in late due to late flight arrival, they kept the room for me. The service here has been great. I had a parcel that was sent earlier but the courier sent it to the wrong address. 米兰 was really helpful in helping me to contact the courier to pick it back up and have it sent to me before my check out time. I would really recommend this hotel for their good service and location. It is located 2 minutes from the Nanjing Walking Street which has a lot of food shops and local buildings which still carry the old Shanghai feel. Very central location, to the airport you can take a bus or a train which is also minutes away by walk!

As the name suggests, Shanghai Hidden Hotel is quite literally hidden! The lobby is tucked away on the 5th floor of the building, so it can be a little tricky to find, especially on your first visit. That aside, the location is fantastic! It’s just a 2–5 minute walk from the nearest metro station and close to Nanjing Road, making it really convenient to get around Shanghai. The hotel is relatively new and beautifully decorated in an elegant Chinese Zen style. The public areas are also clean, comfortable and well maintained. What we appreciated most was the service. The front desk staff member who assisted us during check-in was particularly friendly and helpful. She responded promptly whenever we needed assistance and made us feel well taken care of. We were also grateful that the hotel allowed us to extend our check-out time to 2pm, which was a big plus as we had a late-night flight. The housekeeping staff were lovely too, always greeting us politely whenever we crossed paths in the hallway. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay. Great location, a beautiful setting and genuinely warm service. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai!
