Came here on a strong recommendation from my mother-in-law -- and she was right! Really nice upscale hotel in a great location adjacent Country Club Plaza, easy parking, quiet rooms, incredibly friendly staff -- we really appreciated the surprise upgrade! Thanks!

As advertised…
We wanted to find a cool and unique hotel for a night as we traveled through to Colorado. This was exactly what we hoped for. My 4 young children were impressed and had the time of their lives. The access to the park and restaurants made it ideal. We were treated like royalty!

Historic plaza building lives on
The overall stay was ok. Management was attentive and the facility as a whole well cared for in a historic building.. There was an unexpected disturbing issue with the cleanliness of the bedding which management quickly addressed. The rest of the stay went well. Perhaps just an isolated incident. .

The staff members were amazingly helpful and the hotel was beautiful with a unique charm. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and highly recommend it for anyone visiting the KC area.

The hotel overall is a wonderful location and beautifully decorated.
Unfortunately, I had a gift bag that had been given to me and was in the room and the cleaning team threw it away. When I spoke to the front desk about it, they told me they would ship it to me at my expense if they found it and that they would call after looking for it. I waited for them to speak with staff and look for it and when I left the hotel, they told me they would call with an update. I never heard from them.
It’s shocking that a hotel of this stature with throw away your personal items and treat it as a small issue.
