This hotel was amazing! It was our second night of a four-night motorbike trip in France, and the location couldn’t have been better. The hotel sits right in front of Saint-Sauveur Church in a beautiful, very French square. It was incredibly tranquil in the morning, with birdsong and even the sound of someone having an organ lesson drifting through from our 15th-century bedroom window—absolutely lovely to listen to. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, with all the amenities you would expect from a high-end stay. The house itself has been beautifully restored, retaining all its historic charm while feeling comfortable and thoughtfully finished throughout. The old staircase was exactly what you would hope for in such a historic building, full of character and charm. Catherine, our friendly host, spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful, assisting us with our luggage and advising us on parking. Secure parking is available for guests at no extra charge, located a short walk away in an underground car park, which was perfect and felt very safe for the bike. Breakfast was wonderful and very varied, served in a large and elegant dining room. She even went to the local patisserie early in the morning to bring back fresh croissants, which was a lovely touch. There were also cheese breads, a selection of teas and coffees, fresh fruit, jams, and chocolate—what more could you want? Do not hesitate to stay here—this place is truly wonderful. We left feeling rested and in love with the beauty, history, and French charm of it all. I was quite sad to leave
