Gewan White Beach Resort-New Alamein

The good: the hotel is decent honestly that’s about it. The bad: the location is not great right next to a sewer dump. It smells awful. There’s nothing to do in the hotel other than pool and beach. The beach is not clean and it’s rocky. All drinks is not included in our stay( include soft drinks and juice) which you would expect but the amount of money spend there. The food is not all that!!. There is no animation team at the hotel. You would expect all of that in a 5 star hotel. Some occasional party by the pool but it ends so fast and they don’t tell you that they are done and you are just waiting not sure if they are done or not. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. This hotel I would rate a 2.5 stars honest on a good day

Good luxury hotel, about 2 hours away from main city Alexandria. Was quite empty when we visted (1st week of October). The room was very clean and comfy, beach was great and the staff are very pleasant. We didn't get to try the pools but they seemed good too. Selection for breakfast and dinner was good, if not exquisite. My only small remark is that at this price range, I have stayed in more luxurious hotels in Hurghada, with all-inclusive access and better reataurants. It's a small nitpick, but I had to say it, since most hotels at this price range are quite close in quality and only the small details differ. I do understand the closeness advantage for north coast hotels vs Hurghada so that must be factored into the price.

Great hotel The hotel is new so everything is brand new great location beach sands everything is perfect for family or solo travel

A Summer trip Neat & nice resort with all good amenities & beach facilities with nice pools and landscape . A reasonable value for money for this hotel type resort & good room services . Located next to a beach club playing loud music till 4AM . The sea is calm & no high waves noticed like other unsuitable beaches in the north coast which is a big advantageous issue. Twin houses are nicely layed out with nice furniture & fully equipped kitchen . Not hesitant to recommend it to travellers to the Northern coast .

Beautiful property very convenient for families, one of the most beautiful beaches to swim

Overall, staff and facilities is one of the greatest, friendly and professional staff members. The property is fairly new less than one Year old. That being said, my understanding from the operation team, propery will have more amenities services within couple of of month during the local leisure and corporate travel season. I would strongly recommend this property for corporate conference meetings, wedding and international leisure market travelers. Guests would enjoy the Amazing, peaceful and stunning blue ocean view and friendly staff team. I would give their staff 100 score.
