Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria

Food was great. Bed mattress was nasty. Paradise beach. Friendly staff

The staff were awesome. We said "Hola" a lot! Our regular server at the a la cart restaurant, Daily, was amazing. She even decorated our table with flowers. The grounds were clean and nice. It was a nice walk to the "market" at the next resort. There were restaurants like the steakhouse and seafood one that were included at the neighbouring resort. These needed to be booked. The buffet on the family side was the best, although both were good, and we especially enjoyed the Valentine's buffet. There was a good selection of food. There were cold meats, cheese, eggs, omelettes (choose what you want, like mushrooms, green peppers, cheese, and meat), French toast, pastries, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, and coffee for breakfast. For lunch and supper, there's rice (yellow, bean, etc.), French fries, mashed potatoes, pastries, pasta with alfredo and tomato sauces, burgers, chicken, pork, beef, fish, seafood (clams, etc.), veggies (carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkin, sweet potato, etc.) The rice pudding was excellent. We also had tasty sweet potato fries, and the pina coladas and mojitos were amazing (virgin is available). The bed was comfortable. There was entertainment, including Cuban dancing near the pools during the day. The ping pong and pool tables were fun. We enjoyed our walks on the beautiful beaches with gorgeous sand! We want to go again!

Every year we go back to this amazing paradise. Our home away from home. The staff are absolutely amazing, especially our butler Odlanier. The beach is spectacular.

What an amazing week at Sanctuary! Sunshine every day and a team of staff including Odlanier and Jose our Butlers who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Pedro at the Nativa Bar makes the best coffee .It was truly a beautiful getaway, and we can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for the first time and it will be our last. Way below our vacation standards. While the pool was beautiful and the beach was amazing ( as all are in Santa Maria), we found that to be it…. The resort accommodation are very outdated, with the smell and site of black mold all over the place. The buffet food was always cold, even when you arrive as it opens. Now you do have access to its sister resort for all amenities but you pay to be here, not have to go elsewhere for all your food and entertainment needs. The only reason I’m giving this resort 3* and not 2* is because of the staff. Very pleasant and helpful. We will not return to this resort and I encourage others to look elsewhere for their vacation needs.

Love this resort so much I have been here in May, September, October and November. The staff are amazing. Daylen is one of many amazing butlers and the entertainment team is the best!
