Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong

Excellent hotel with a superb location. It's so convenient for shopping and dining around the area. The breakfast was amazing and the room was spacious enough. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.

Right downstairs, you can go shopping and find plenty of food options, which is very convenient. The hotel lobby is on the fourth floor, shared with another hotel. That other hotel is probably quite a bit cheaper than this one. The free Haagen-Dazs is a nice touch. They don't provide bottled water automatically, but you can call room service and get it for free. Toiletries are not complimentary. Our embassy is right downstairs, so I felt incredibly safe.

The hotel was very clean overall, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English. There's also complimentary coffee and ice cream available on the fourth floor, right next to the front desk. On the ground floor (G level), there's a 24-hour CU convenience store, and the hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. It seems the Western restaurant on the fourth floor only offers a dinner buffet, which I unfortunately didn't get to try this time.

The room was very clean and the service was excellent. The hotel is in a great location, convenient for getting around, and offers a fantastic shopping experience nearby.

The hotel is located in Myeongdong, right next to the Chinese Embassy, and very close to the street food alley. It's super convenient for shopping and eating. They even have all-you-can-eat Häagen-Dazs! The bathroom is also very spacious. The only minor issue was that the lobby was a bit hard to find at first.

The location downstairs is super convenient, with plenty of food options right on the ground floor. It's also right next to the Chinese Embassy in South Korea. It feels very safe to walk around, with lots of tourists nearby. Overall, it's pretty good.

The bigger the hope, the greater the disappointment. By domestic hotel standards, this place is essentially an upgraded budget hotel in terms of hardware. Regarding the service, every staff member I encountered greeted me warmly and proactively. When my ride-share dropped me off at ground level, two attendants helped me carry my luggage upstairs. Its location is absolutely unbeatable, right in Myeongdong. It's very close to Lotte Duty-Free, Shinsegae Duty-Free, and the Nanta show. My final conclusion is: Is it worth over 5,000 won for two nights? I can only say that the Wyndham I stayed at in Busan for just over 700 won felt more like a five-star hotel in terms of amenities, and it only cost a third of what I paid here.

This is a relatively new hotel near Myeongdong. They offer all-you-can-eat Haagen-Dazs and complimentary chocolates delivered to your room daily. However, the cleanliness was just so-so. Based on other reviews, it seems Chinese guests often get rooms with less-than-ideal views. I originally booked a double room and wanted to add an extra bed, but the front desk insisted on giving me a twin room, even emphasizing that they were two double beds. When I got in, the beds were at most 1.4 meters wide.
