Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata

Hardly 5 star. The water is patchy and barely luke warm. The phone didn’t work and the room was not cleaned properly. I found rubbish under the bed while scrabbling about for the phone cord to try and make it work… The staff are great and very helpful, the breakfast is nice, but the property itself needs substantial work.

A wonderful hotel at the Centre of Kolkata. Stay was really nice. Cozy and comfortable room. Cleanliness was top notch.

My husband and I had a very comfortable stay for 14 days at a good rate. Service was great, housekeeping was excellent. Food was good. Hotel staff were helpful and took extra care of our requests. However, just one point to make the air conditioning thermostat in our room did not work which was inconvenient. If a few tweaks were made to air conditioning, I would return to stay again with HHI, Kolkata

a great location. Amazing food. The only thing missing is the dated property. The rooms are dated so is the overall ambience. Can they refresh it pls? The staff is friendly and the housekeeping is struggling to do their job.

All the staff right from house keeping to laundry service, from gym to the restaurant, even the security staff working 24 hrs and also staff working at the reception all of them were very warm, helpful and always smiling. Felt at home there. However there is one thing that needs attention. The condition of the rooms are not upto the mark. The shower, the flush also the wardrobe drawers. The mattresses. Even in the gym one of the ACs was not working since May this year and no action has been taken so far. The hygiene needs to be maintained every where.

hotel needs massive investment to be contemporary with the facilities what the new brands are provided....some of the facilities are old and need replacement like the bathroom faucets where not functional!! the electric kettles are in poor condition. for breakfast, quality and spread need improvement. overall, its a okay okay stay and not memorable stay!!

It was a wonderful experience staying with Hhi .... Decent location between heart of the city. Hospitality was at its peak be it comfort, service everything... The main aspect is having well trained staffs.... I would like to thanks Ms. Debamitra Banerjee for her warm gesture she was excellent in her prompt service n response during the stay.. Will recommend everyone.
