We had a pleasant stay at Alladin Resort and Beach Zanzibar. The resort itself is very well maintained, clean, and has a charming atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful. The small pool is nice and relaxing, and the jacuzzi is a great addition. The breakfast included in the stay was good and offered a nice start to the day. The location is one of the biggest advantages. The resort is located in the middle of a local village, which gives you a great opportunity to experience everyday life in Zanzibar. Many local children play on the beach, and the atmosphere feels authentic. There are also some good local restaurants nearby. The location is especially convenient for Mnemba Island and dolphin tours. The beach is interesting because of the strong tides, which create a unique landscape. However, the beach itself is not always very clean. Another downside is that many boats are parked directly on the beach, which makes it less attractive and less practical for swimming. Some prices at the resort are quite high. For example, coffee can cost around 4 USD, which is comparable to Swiss prices. Food and other services are also expensive compared to local options, while soft drinks are more reasonably priced. For guests who do not book all-inclusive, eating at local restaurants nearby can be a much better value. The tours offered by the hotel are also significantly more expensive (around double the price) compared to local providers, even for the same activities. The pool is not heated, and in July the water was quite cold. The SPA is also relatively expensive, especially compared to other options in Zanzibar, and it seemed that many guests did not use it. As in many places in Zanzibar, there are beach boys who approach tourists frequently. The best approach is simply to be polite, ignore persistent offers, and they usually leave you alone. Overall, a clean and charming resort with excellent service and a fantastic local atmosphere. However, guests should be aware that some hotel services and activities are much more expensive than local alternatives.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Alladin Boutique Beach Hotel and Spa, nestled in the heart Kigomani, a fishing village in Matemwe. I traveled in April during the wet and low tourist season, which turned out to be the perfect time for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and always willing to help. Because it was low season, we received such personal attention, which made the stay feel even more special and memorable. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and the atmosphere was calm and authentic. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, beautiful views and the fishing boats at the shore made every day special. This hotel is one I’ll be returning to in Zanzibar.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They made my 7 night stay very pleasant and comfortable. This is truly a boutique hotel that pays attention to every detail and every guest. At first the entrance is misleading but as soon as you step inside it is a different story! You get a welcome coconut drink that is super delicious. The pool area and the restaurant is very pretty and is kept very clean. The food is super delicious and they have the best drinks and also mocktails. I had a very good deep tissue massage at the spa also. My room was very spacious with a great view. The bed was super comfortable and they cleaned every day. They even surprised me with a birthday song and a personal cake - getting my birthday from my ID! Now that had never happened in any hotel before! Very special place and I will definitely stay there again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Stay! Wow — what an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We were greeted with fresh coconuts and given a personal tour of the hotel, which was such a nice touch. The manager went above and beyond — he arranged a romantic dinner for me and my sister, beautifully set up in a heart shape! When I mentioned I needed my hair done, he even organized a hairdresser to come to the hotel to braid it for me. Truly exceptional service! The food was absolutely delicious, the pool was stunning, and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel — we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a very good stay at the Alladin boutique hotel. Everything was perfect, very attentive staff, delicious meals, very clean hotel with sea view room. To accompany our dinner, we had the chance to have two groups of local musicians who set an incredible atmosphere. Thank you to Khamis (Manager) who knew how to put all the conditions for our stay to be perfect.
