Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur At KL Midtown

The hotel has a great location and is in a relatively quiet area. The entire check-in process was smooth, and the cleanliness was good. The breakfast offered a wide variety with options for different tastes. I would choose to stay here again next time.

Poor soundproofing. The room faced the street, so I had to sleep with earplugs at night. The service fell short, likely because it just opened last year and management is still a bit rough around the edges. There seemed to be construction all around the hotel, turning the area into a big worksite. As for the "view room" we were promised, we had to keep the curtains drawn pretty much the whole time. Overall, it falls short of Hyatt standards.

We chose this hotel because we were attending an event at MITEC. It was incredibly convenient as we could walk there. The hotel itself is very upscale, and the Peking duck at the Chinese restaurant is absolutely delicious – a must-try! The hotel breakfast was very extensive, and the pool and gym were great for relaxation. We felt so comfortable here, we didn't want to go anywhere else. However, there isn't much to explore or eat within walking distance of the hotel.

Stayed here with my partner, and the quality met expectations 🤩. The only minor issue was that when we checked in early at noon, they assigned us an accessible room without informing us when we arrived in the evening. However, the front desk quickly upgraded our room, which was great. Overall, Hyatt's quality and cleanliness are top-notch! 👍 The breakfast was extensive, covering most Asian cuisines, including Jianbing Guozi (a Chinese savory crepe). You really can't go wrong with this choice for quality! The bar also had a great ambiance. We ordered two specialty cocktails, and the descriptions were quite unique. It was a pity the pool was already closed when we got there, so we didn't get a chance to take any pictures. 🤣
