Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur At KL Midtown

The bathroom Is super spacious, almost 90% as big as the room itself. Good variety of breakfast options. Customised fruit juice and freshly made peanut butter (really good) that are not always spotted at hotel buffets.

Everything was good, it’s my second time here and I have introduce many of my fren. They even provide a small cake since I have mention for anniversary celebration. 10/10💯

The spacious room and large screen TV were a huge plus. The bathroom was also roomy and I particularly liked the 2 sinks and mirrors. This eliminated any need for a sink or mirror fight. The breakfast spreads were average but I appreciated the ability to order any hot or iced beverage and even juices from the staff. My iced latte and hot tea were both superbly delicious. However, the toilet was a bit of a letdown. It wasn’t connected to the bathroom and used a Japanese-style bidet which we struggled to figure out quickly. Another issue was the lengthy check-in process. I waited about 5 - 10 minutes in line before a receptionist finally attended to me. Then it took another 30 minutes for registration. I was in a rush as I had an appointment later and planned to rest and order room service first. During the 30 minutes of check-in, I felt like I was being treated like a guest at a different hotel. The receptionist questioned why I had booked a twin bed and even asked if I knew where the breakfast was. This was unacceptable and I was furious but I kept quiet to avoid causing a scene and missing my appointment. Nevertheless, the staff were very tentative to my needs, friendly and kept greeting me every time I passed them. Since I’ve experienced better hotel stays, I wouldn’t return to this hotel unless there’s something good nearby. The surroundings are still under construction and there’s nothing good to see or do. Maybe I’ll wait until Aeon Mall opens then I’ll rethink.

Beautiful new hotel with spacious rooms, excellent service and great facilities. The breakfast and pool were highlights. A little away from central KL, but otherwise an excellent choice.

Good service provided by Hyatt although some misunderstanding occurred. I only know it after i filed complaint, the person in charge respond promptly to address the front desk issue. Upon check in, i was been offered to Residence room but i booked hotel room which been claimed fully booked. Front desk did not explain much on the so called upgrade which i initially felt it was a downgrade, thus i seek clarification from Residence front desk and she helped me to check in to hotel which i booked. After i filed complaint only Hyatt provide full explanation on the so called upgrade which i fully understand but anyway i just wanted to seek a clear explanation. Nvr did i know Hyatt provide a further compensation to allow late check up till 3pm and food credit of Rm200. Anyway i did not fully utilise all coz i on my schedule to check out at 12pm.. A thumbs up for such service and respond. I will come back to Hyatt hotel in kl for my stay. Good and fast response from Hyatt stuff. Their morning breakfast from Regency is not bad although lack of varieties if compared to Grand Hyatt
