Château d'Argentonesse

We spent an absolutely unforgettable weekend at the Château d’Argentonesse in the magnificent Périgord region. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the sumptuous setting and the elegance of the place. The château has been renovated with remarkable taste and expertise, perfectly blending period charm with modern comfort. Every detail testifies to the care and passion the owners have poured into this place. The large swimming pool, nestled in a peaceful environment, allowed us to relax during the intense heat. The hosts are simply exceptional: welcoming, attentive, and always available to share their invaluable tips for sightseeing and their excellent recommendations for delicious local cuisine. Thanks to them, we discovered some real gems. Breakfast was a true feast, with fresh, high-quality products presented with care—a real delight to start the day. As for the bedding, it deserves special mention: optimal comfort and restful nights guaranteed after wonderful days of walking and exploring the region. An unforgettable stay in an idyllic setting, with exceptionally kind hosts. We leave with wonderful memories and only one desire: to return! Lou & Thibaud

très agréable séjour dans ce château magnifiquement restauré et qui comporte tous les équipements de confort moderne. nos hôtes sont très sympathiques et ont été de bons conseil pour nos visites de la région. grande chambre avec une excellente literie, petits déjeuner plus que suffisants, grande piscine dans un parc immense (bien que je n'ai pu en profiter en ce début de mai) dommage que la route passe si près du parc, mais cela n'enlève rien au plaisir d'y séjourner

Un véritable havre de paix au cœur du Périgord noir. On s’y sent tout de suite bien, chacun y trouve sa place entre calme et nature. Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants et attentionnés, avec un vrai sens du détail. La propriété est magnifique, pleine de charme, et entourée d’une nature luxuriante. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner, généreux et de grande qualité, digne d’un 5 étoiles. L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les nombreux sites touristiques de la région tout en profitant du calme absolu. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter.

Quel séjour merveilleux ! Le lieu est juste splendide, une propreté impeccable et surtout les chambres sont superbes avec une literie très confortable ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet havre de paix. Mention spéciale pour les hôtes qui sont très accueillants.

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend in this region, which I hadn't yet had the chance to visit. The area is magnificent, and the choice of accommodation was perfect! The charm of the old stone buildings, the large swimming pool (much appreciated in the August heat), the lovely grounds (garden), our tastefully decorated room—in short, the Château d'Argentonesse is very well run by its hosts. They were very helpful and charming. I highly recommend it!
