Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongya Cave Houju High-altitude River-view Hotel

The hotel's overall location is excellent, with easy walking access to the Liberation Monument, Hongyadong, Shibati, and the Mountain City Walkway. The river views and nightscapes from the high vantage point are both beautiful, offering a stunning overview of the entire city. From the room, you can see the landmark Liberation Monument. The staff are very attentive, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the hotel also provides laundry services. The hotel is close to Metro Lines 1 and 2, just a few minutes' walk away. You can also take Didi or yellow taxis downstairs. The convenience is unparalleled, and you can store your luggage in the lobby upon check-out.

The hotel is located very centrally and attractions can be reached easily via walking. It is also located on one of the higher floors of the building, so you have a great view of the city. I would very much recommend staying in this hotel!

The views of the river and city skyline from the high floors are impressive, offering a wonderful panoramic perspective of the entire city. From the room, you can see the iconic Jiefangbei landmark. The staff demonstrate strong service awareness, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and laundry services are available. The hotel is also very close to Metro Lines 1 and 2, just a few minutes' walk away. Taxis, including Didi and yellow cabs, are readily accessible right downstairs—truly as convenient as it gets. At checkout, luggage can be stored in the lobby.

The room was very clean and the view of Chongqing was amazing. The staff very helpful and the hotel was nicely decorated.

After looking at many hotels, I finally chose Houju. Located in the heart of Jiefangbei, it's within walking distance of Hongyadong and Shibatidi, and the food street and Jiefangbei are right downstairs, making it very convenient for sightseeing and dining. The floor-to-ceiling windows on the high floor offer stunning views, with panoramic city nightscapes. The room was clean and tidy, with a retro style that evoked a sense of history. The facilities were complete, including a three-part bathroom, ensuring a great stay. I was also relieved about the cleanliness; the bedding and towels were spotless, and they even offer laundry service, which is very practical for travel. The front desk service was warm and efficient, and check-in was quick.

Room size is comfortable 2 persons' luggages. I stay alone. Hot shower does not have to wait long. Water pressure is ok. Shampoo, Conditioner, Bath, Body lotion all Grabsong&JJ. Hand wash white tea (Haoto) nice smell. Mineral water in room is generous hahaha as I have 4 bottles to myself per day. Small desk & 8 metal hangers. The only thing I dislike is the brown recycle tissue & toilet paper
