We had the chance to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary at Anantara Kihavah, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the reservation process until the end of our stay, everything was seamless and professionally handled. Special thanks to Arriane from Reservations, who helped us plan our stay and introduced us to all the special inclusions for our celebration, and to Zidhan, our Villa Host, who took care of our activities and reservations from Day 1. He was always attentive, flexible, and quick to assist with any request or change in schedule. The resort made our celebration even more special with beautiful room decorations and a complimentary one-night upgrade to an Over Water Pool Villa, allowing us to experience both the Beach Pool Villa and Over Water Pool Villa. A big thank you as well to Toppu from Plates, Chef Jun-jun from FIRE, Jenif from Manzaru, and Fegey and Almas from SPICE. Their warm and friendly service made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Our complimentary four-course lunch at SEA Underwater Restaurant was another unforgettable highlight. The food was exceptional, and dining underwater surrounded by marine life was an experience we will always remember. Overall, Kihavah gave us exactly what we were looking for a relaxing luxury vacation with excellent service, amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and a stunning house reef. Thank you to the entire Anantara Kihavah team for making our birthday and anniversary celebration so special. You exceeded our expectations, and we hope to return someday with our family.

We spent seven nights at Anantara Kihavah as part of my 60th birthday trip. Our Beach Pool Villa, number 110, had a beautiful, wide sandy beach and easy access to the house reef. Snorkelling straight from the beach and seeing sharks, rays and turtles were highlights. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to our villa host, Piyal, for his kindness, personal attention and help with our arrangements. He made us feel welcome and well looked after, and we hope management recognises his dedication. We appreciated the cake, champagne and gifts, which reflected both my birthday and our DISCOVERY Platinum membership. However, we would have welcomed more flexibility with the membership benefits. Being unable to redeem previously earned DISCOVERY Dollars because of our travel agency booking was particularly disappointing. Food, drinks and spa treatments were expensive, with drinking water charged separately at dinner. More attentive beach service beyond the main pool area would have been welcome. Seaplane movements near our villa and motorised water sports occasionally affected the tranquillity, and a temporary bar closure for a large group was unfortunate. We happily pay for quality and truly appreciate beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality and thoughtful details. At this price level, a little more generosity and flexibility would make the experience feel more rewarding. Overall, a beautiful island with memorable snorkeling and a caring team, with some room to improve the overall value for guests.

We spent four nights at Anantara Kihavah for a friend's 50th birthday, and it was truly exceptional. The island is breathtaking, the Beach Pool Villa was perfect, and the food was excellent throughout. But the real standout was our villa host, Piyal. He arranged our spa treatments and reef snorkeling sessions flawlessly — everything confirmed and effortless. More than that, he looked after us with a warmth that felt personal, not rehearsed. When you're celebrating a milestone with people you love, that kind of care means everything. Five stars, easily — and if you stay here, ask for Piyal. You won't regret it.

We stayed for two nights in May. We had a good and relaxing stay, just enough to unwind from work’s hustle and bustle. We mostly stayed in our villa coz honestly it was perfect and we just really wanted to rest. Our butler, Shameen was great. He was very responsive and accommodating. He helped us get a medicine for my boyfriend’s ear infection. Special thanks to the IVD and housekeeping staff for accommodating our requests.

Our stay at Anantara Kihavah was truly exceptional and easily one of the most memorable resort experiences we’ve had in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, attention to detail and genuine warmth from the entire team stood out. A special mention must go to our wonderful butler, whose service was incredible throughout our stay. He was attentive, thoughtful and always one step ahead of us, making everything feel effortless. The cleaning staff took wonderful care of our room. Our water bungalow was fantastic beautifully designed, spacious, extremely comfortable and with a very practical layout. The room servicing was consistently impeccable. The house reef is absolutely incredible — exceptionally healthy, vibrant and full of marine life. For anyone who loves snorkelling and the ocean, this is a very special place. The island itself is also beautifully maintained while retaining a wonderfully natural character. It is incredibly green and lush, with orchids and tropical plants throughout the island, which we absolutely loved. The food was magnificent. Every meal was memorable, and the restaurant teams were exceptionally warm, professional, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The Sea restaurant was a particular highlight for us, with a spectacular setting and fantastic dining experience. We also loved the cultural dance performance at Sky Bar, which added such a wonderful sense of Maldivian culture and atmosphere to the evening. The water sports and excursions team were equally impressive. Everyone we met was friendly, knowledgeable, informative and incredibly attentive. They made us feel completely comfortable while helping us get the most out of the incredible marine environment surrounding the resort. It was wonderful to see that this level of care extends right through the senior management of the resort. Overall, Anantara Kihavah exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding service, beautiful accommodation, exceptional food, an incredible house reef and a naturally lush island makes this resort truly special. A huge thank you to the Anantara Kihavah team for making our stay so unforgettable. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Anantara Kihavah to anyone looking for a truly exceptional Maldivian experience.

Anantara Kihavah is a gem still quite hidden. Looking out over the 4 epic Maldivian islands in the Baa Atol, it is amazing what has been accomplished. Many villa's scattered across the island, but still the idea of an private retreat if you want to. The underwater restaurant is a must-visit with turtles and many different fish making eye-contact across the glass. The star-gazing telescope will allow to see the sky with almost no other lights disturbing. The accompanying explanation of all the galaxies make the experience complete. The international and Maldivian staff excel in friendlness and service: thank you Jambe, Dihmi, Susa and of course Rooney for your assistance in all our needs. Great restaurants: too many too choose, but make sure to visit Spice! Excursions to the Manta's make this a great destination to visit!
