Great location close to the square with private parking. The ambiance is quiet and private with lovely gardens and water fountains. Keep in mind there are many steps inside and out, but they can be thoughtfully navigated. The inn staff are accommodating and friendly. The room was old and charming with an adobe house vibe—-creaky hardwood floors, timber ceilings, stucco walls and fireplace. The bathroom was modernized and the bed and pillows perfect after a long day of exploring. We could open the windows if we wanted, but instead used the a/c because Santa Fe was experiencing a heatwave. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It is served at a long table where you get the added treat of visiting with other guests. The menu changed daily. We found many were repeat guests. In the cozy lounge area, there were also homemade cookies, Chex mix, kettle popcorn, tea and lemonade provided during the day for quick snacks. It’s a lovely property just a little bit away from the bustle of the historic square. Like other fellow travelers, we would stay there again.
