Kalima Resort & Spa Phuket

I decorated the room simply for my birthday. I was a bit disappointed with the sea-view room on the first floor; there's a small road right outside with motorcycles and cars passing by, though it wasn't too noisy. I thought I'd be able to see the pool, but I couldn't. There's a shuttle service, which saved us some taxi fare. Overall, the service was quite good, and the environment was nice. I still felt the price was a bit high. We only went to the pool once for photos and didn't explore other areas, which felt a bit like a waste. The spa prices were high.

We booked two room types: a pool access room and a honeymoon suite, located on the first and sixth floors of the same building. The entire hotel is built into a hillside, making access a bit inconvenient. The pool room had a musty smell as soon as we walked in, but the honeymoon suite didn't. The hotel has a lot of vegetation, so there were many insects. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, who were numerous and enthusiastic. The breakfast was also more to our taste than the Marriott we stayed at later. We also tried the hotel's Japanese restaurant, which had great views and delicious food. The room service meals were also very tasty. I'd suggest the head chef at the Phuket Marriott come to Kalima for some training! Most of the guests were Indian, with a small number of Middle Easterners, and very few Chinese, which made me wonder if the owner is Indian.

The reception, hospitality, location, and prompt service were all great. They celebrated my children's birthdays beautifully, after I made a special request before arriving at the hotel. What I didn't like was that the rooms and the hotel itself are very old, and so is the furniture, and the cleanliness wasn't up to par.

【Pros】 1. The breakfast selection is fantastic, offering everything from Western pastries to Chinese noodle soups, catering to diverse tastes. 2. The hotel's infinity pool is incredibly photogenic, perfect for striking all sorts of poses. 3. The staff are very welcoming and polite, always greeting guests with a friendly hello. 4. The room's cleanliness is excellent; bath towels, bedsheets, and duvet covers are changed daily. The shower pressure is strong, and the air conditioning works perfectly. 5. There are fewer Asian and Indian guests; most of the visitors are European. 【Tips】 1. There are no convenience stores like 7-Eleven near the hotel, so it's advisable to stock up on essentials when you're out. 2. The hotel is located halfway up a hill, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. You can use Grab for rides or food delivery when going out. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The location in the mountains is quite good, making it convenient for families or couples traveling together. The front desk service is very warm and accommodating; any requests are handled quickly. There's also a dedicated app for communicating with the front desk, which is very convenient.

Everything about the resort is beautiful. Honestly, I had to check out because all the rooms were fully booked and I couldn't extend my stay. The restaurant is lovely and offers a great variety. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The staff are incredibly helpful. Everything is just beautiful. Thank you! ♥️

The facilities were excellent, and I felt a sense of calm after my stay. The minimalist space truly washed away the exhaustion from my travels. The morning light outside the window completely refreshed my mind, as if my body and soul had been fully recharged. Carrying this newfound ease and lightness, I am ready to face life's next challenge.

We recently spent a wonderful few days at Kalima Resort and had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The service truly stands out. We were able to check in around 1 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3 PM, which was a very welcome relief after our journey. All the hotel staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. You can feel the high level of service and a genuine desire to make guests' stays comfortable. The breakfasts here are simply magnificent – some of the best we've had in Thailand. There's a huge selection of dishes to suit every taste: a variety of pastries, a chocolate fountain, Nutella and peanut butter, several types of meat, fish, sushi rolls, chicken shawarma, and much more. Everything is beautifully presented, and the dishes are constantly replenished; nothing runs out, even closer to the end of breakfast service. We stayed in a sea-view room, and this view was the highlight of our stay at the hotel. The panorama is so breathtaking that it feels like you're on an observation deck with a nearly 240-degree view. The glass balconies and floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors allow you to enjoy the sea even without leaving your room. The room itself is very cozy and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained, green, and very photogenic. The pool is nice and comfortable, although the stunning views remained the main draw of the hotel for us. The location is also good: if you're traveling by scooter or car, you can reach Patong in just a few minutes. Walking isn't very convenient, but this wasn't a drawback for us. Kalima Resort left us with very fond memories. It's a place we'd love to return to for the amazing views, excellent service, and truly luxurious breakfasts.
