Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort - Family Friendly

Enjoyed staying at Jomtien palm beach hotel. Staff was always kind and friendly. Very hard working.  Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of selection of varies veggies, noodles and veggies, American breakfast of toast, eggs, meat etc.. Omlette station was very well done. Lots of drink options.  The chef (Damrong Chapanya) introduced himself us and was very friendly, nice and personable. He was in the dining area making sure everything was filled, cleaned. He did an amazing job.  You can tell hotel was older and needed some TLC like around the large pool on outside main entrance. Whatever is used to clean pool isn’t keeping up, water appears dirty and murky. The pool on the 3rd floor other tower of hotel was amazing, very clean, hardly anyone there. A true gem. Room was very clean, and nice touch having 2 comfortable chairs and a table near the window.  The main entrance of the hotel, hallways and other entrance to other tower of hotel rooms was gorgeous. You can tell this was a grand hotel when it was built. Lots of very clean and nice bathrooms on main level. Convenience store good prices and not really expensive.  Although I didn’t play pool or play bowling both looked amazing and high end pool tables.. gorgeous. There was also a gym looked well equipped. If I was to return to the area I would definitely stay there again.

SUPER RUN DOWN 😰 upon checked in close to midnight - 1 room has wet floor, leaking from the fridge; 1 room has bad smoke smell coming from either the ac or next room; 1 room has almost a flooding bathroom. All rooms don’t look like the photos as listed because of very poor maintenance. Corridor was soooo dark feels like a budget hotel even before we saw the rooms. 😭 Big mirrors facing the beds which was a big taboos to us. Cleanliness of the rooms are very questionable too (reusable pairs of slippers were provided & they looked totally disgusting with black footprints noticeable on it!) Tried to upgrade the rooms to the NEW BLUE WAVE rooms as our parents were very happy with their room condition - new, bright, clean, SUNSET view, bright corridors too & no foul smell! Unfortunately it’s all booked. Recommended to only book the NEW BLUE WAVE rooms as we were told that it was newly renovated back in 2025. Make a HUGE difference especially when u expect a comfy stay for your family ☹️
