I first came here in 1992 when this hotel was a construction site.I was part of the design team of this hotel. I did attend this hotel opening in 1995.I was also involved in the renovation around 2017. The hotel is quite old now but still retain it's charm. The feel when I arrived was like visiting the home of an old friend. The birthday cake from the hotel is a very heart warming gesture and highly appreciated 🥰

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff member who checked us in was extremely friendly. When she found out we were heading to Mount Bromo for sunrise that night, she shared her experiences and even gave us complimentary hand warmers, which were incredibly useful given how cold it gets while waiting for the sunrise. The hotel is also conveniently located near a large shopping mall and many restaurants.

Second stay here and the consistency is solid. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — no drop in standards compared to my first visit. Service was smooth throughout. Special thanks to Joan for handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. Quick, clear, and hassle-free. Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura  is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed. Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

A truly excellent hotel. The environment is stunning. I had expected rain for my trip, but the weather turned out to be perfect, and I got to see some beautiful scenery. The hotel has a pool, which is fantastic for anyone who loves to swim. I was on a business trip, so unfortunately, I didn't have time to enjoy it. The staff's service attitude was exceptional. What impressed me most was that every morning at breakfast, they remembered my name when they saw me. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely be back here the next time I visit Surabaya. Breakfast was also delicious.
