The location is excellent, near main tourist street and train station. Especially good if u r taking the airport transfer train which is less than 5 mins walk to the hotel. There are receptionists and they are friendly. Room service is also fast.

Overall the stay was very comfortable. Room was big for 2 pax and bed was comfortable. Good TV channels. Location wise, it is opposite the train station and walking distance to malioboro. Despite being close to train station, the room was quiet. Breakfast was good. Food at restaurant (or can order Room service) was really memorable I.e. iga bakar and pisang goreng keju. Very good service by hotel staff. Overall, recommended and we will definitely come back here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Malioboro, this is a really good hotel. The cleanliness, the service, the breakfast, all is high category. The location is also really good to explore the city. Highly recommended.

The only downside was the occasional train announcements and train whistles near by station. But not problematic. Very good location for Malioboro street.
