Fantastic stay amazing staff all of them ! Sean deserves a special mention , food is outstanding, breakfast was beautiful, we can’t wait to come back. Everything was outstanding, sitting outside in the beautiful garden was a highlight so relaxing

My fiancée and I visited Ardtara house for a peaceful birthday/ anniversary getaway. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room (No 2) is absolutely stunning with big windows and a beautiful view. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, they learned our names and made us feel very comfortable. The food... wow it really is 10/10, we had the tasting menu and it was the most enjoyable dining experience we have ever had. Can't wait to go back.

From the moment we arrived everyone was really friendly and helpful, greeted by the Manager, shown to our room and given a tour of the property.

What a fabulous place Ardtara Country House is. Food is fantastic - service and hospitality outstanding. We hosted a special birthday for my wife with 20 guests - Sean was so helpful in all the myriad arrangements and made the whole event so special.

I found the bathroom was missing tissues, a not slip mat for the bath (which I used) Bed extremely comfortable and both bathroom and bedroom spotless. Had delicious evening meal. Breakfast very good. Went for a walk in your lovely garden and grounds. Would have loved to see a little vase of some of the lovely flowers and greenery I saw as I walked. We enjoyed our stay very much and will highly recommend Ardtara to friends.

As always staff and Sean know how to look after people, nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was excellent as regards to my wife's mobility. Food was of a very high standard and very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Live quite local but seriously thinking of booking an overnight. Dined in the restaurant and today we had Afternoon Tea. Exceptional quality, service exceptional. Stayed in many a 5 star that doesn't touch this place for fine dining.

Really enjoyed our first stay at Ardtara. We were very impressed with the standard of service throughout our stay. Special mention to Sean, the manager. So attentive and caring. We had a beautiful room with furnishings in keeping with this magnificent house. We appreciated the pretty colourful flower boxes on our windows Our evening meal was one of the best we’ve had in a very long time. Special mention for my delicious starter, thank you Sean. Very high standard. Delicious flavours and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend Ardtara Country House and we will definitely be back.

As always with Ardtara, my wife and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay as we celebrated our Silver wedding anniversary. Sean and the staff made us feel so special and the food was top class. I can't wait for our next visit.
