Hôtel Villa-Lamartine

We wanted to stay in the centre of Arcachon for a short weekend and are very glad we chose this hotel as it was excellent. The welcome was warm and friendly as was the service from beginning to end, the room and bathroom comfortable, clean, and stylish, and the breakfast was very good in a delightfully decorated and furnished room. An additional bonus was parking onsite. Thoroughly to be recommended.

Everything was fabulous. Great room, really good location, beautiful decor inside and every staff member we saw was absolutely lovely.

Very friendly staff in a gorgeous looking hotel. Short walk from the beach, confortable room (if a little small if you choose the entry-level ones), fantastic breakfast.

Hotel in top location in Arcachon with private parking and near to the station. Very good breakfast and variety of products. I would suggest to introduce some home fragrance products to further improve the well-being in the rooms.

Great hotel, very nice, tastefully decorated, and in an excellent location. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit small.

Front desk ladies were all wonderful! Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was great. Room and bathroom old-fashioned and furnished with clunky “antiques” that aren’t really useful for a hotel. Breakfast room very small and coffee machine was always busy. You felt like you were in the way every time you went up to the buffet for a coffee! Sitting outside was better. Good parking. Good location. View from room was looking onto parking lot and buildings.

Central position, small and cosy, quiet, very nice people, enough space in the rooms, clean and parking available!

Price of a 4* hotel but the service / rooms / amenities do not follow. No minibar offering, no water bottles or small welcome snack (as it normally always is the case in such hotels), and apart from the rooms themselves the amenities are very basic. But above all the rooms' decor is very singular and certainly not to everyone's taste. Also, the main areas are basic and smelly. We never paid so much for a hotel (almost €300 for one night) for so low a quality.... highly disappointed
