This hotel had high ratings, but the actual stay experience was not good and was very disappointing.
1. The quilt was damp, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The room facilities were average and didn't justify the price. There were no slippers in the room; we had to call to request them, and the slippers provided were as thin as paper.
2. I booked a limestone mountain view room, but the view downstairs was rundown. My friend's room directly faced high-voltage power lines, which emitted noise at night.
3. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, but the taste was generally not good.
4. There was absolutely no service that exceeded expectations, such as early check-in.
Pros
1. The staff's attitude was okay. On the day of checkout, which was Chinese New Year's Eve, the staff wore traditional Chinese red uniforms, which was a warm touch.
2. The location was decent, within walking distance of Ao Nang Beach.
The hotel felt like it was only worth about USD 40-50 per night, but the actual charge was over USD 100. It did not live up to its price.
