La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salem NH

Breakfast was excellent, location to the highway was perfect for our needs. Overall a nice travel experience.

It’s a fairly modern and new construction. Parking is free. It is next to a highway exit and therefore convenient for South NH and North MA. Heating is very good - it was in middle of winter with temperatures of negative fifteen and snow every where. The breakfast is American with scrambled eggs, muffin and toasts, oatmeal and pancakes. They have yoghurt as well. There are nice restaurants in neighbourhood. Clean rooms and towels and well maintained Overall very good value for money.

The fire alarm malfunctioned at night.

The rooms need some work for sure. The tub was too high to get in and so slippery that it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I've stayed there before, and will again. The staff is great. The public spaces and room itself were very clean. The bathrooms in this hotel have a tub shower which has a very high side (knee-high in my case) to step over, and no grab rails. The bathroom in my particular room had no working ventilation and some cosmetic issues, which I reported on checkout.
