The service here is better than many 3,000 to 5,000 RMB hotels I've stayed at. It’s not the kind of luxury that just comes from throwing money at costs, but rather a genuine attentiveness from management down to the frontline staff. The butler service lives up to its reputation—Darlene was extremely prompt and efficient. She arranged a cake and a gift for my birthday, and when I needed an ironing kit, she had a colleague bring it right up. Highly efficient, completely blowing the neighboring St. Regis out of the water (don't even get me started on them). The hardware is currently the newest and best in Qingdao, with a tasteful Chinese aesthetic. With plenty of staff on hand, you really feel enveloped in attentive service, backed by thorough training from the doormen at drop-off to the concierge. The attention to detail is also impressive; the calming tea delivered during turndown service—regardless of personal taste—is a great touch. It brilliantly balances an elevated guest experience with cost-efficiency. Daily replenishment of the minibar was honestly a pleasant surprise—thumbs up! All in all, this hotel feels way beyond the 1,000-plus price point; in my opinion, it belongs in the 2,000 to 3,000 RMB tier. If you can snag a low rate in the off-season, there’s simply no reason to stay anywhere else. I'll save the rest of the amenities to explore next time I'm in Qingdao. An exceptionally standout experience overall, keep up the great work!

During my trip to Qingdao this time, I stayed at the Diaoyutai Mansion Qingdao Laoshan. Compared to standard Diaoyutai Mansions, the design here is much more aesthetic. The hotel seamlessly integrates local Laoshan characteristics into both its service and design. Before my arrival, I was added on WeChat by my butler, Ina, and they even gifted me the hotel's mascot, a little lion. The service response was very prompt, and the breakfast is highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay and were extremely satisfied! The hotel features a gorgeous Oriental design with striking vermilion and gilded accents, creating a luxurious and grand Chinese aesthetic. The service was exceptional, with almost every request met promptly. The attention to detail was impressive: in the evening, they provided calming tea, earplugs, sleep essential oils, and an eye mask. The bedding was amazingly comfortable, and the bed was wonderfully spacious! The bathroom was also very large, stocked with niche MEMO toiletries that smelled divine! An absolutely perfect experience. I will definitely be back next time!

The hotel has a very stylish decor with an amazing ambiance, perfect for taking stunning photos. The room is exquisitely arranged with great lighting and views. The environment is quiet and peaceful, and Giselle provided thoughtful and attentive service. Next time I visit, I can just book directly through the butler~

An amazing stay! This was my first time visiting Qingdao during the National Day holiday, and I chose the newly opened MGM Residences Qingdao. The 51st-floor sky lobby offers stunning sea views, and even the little lions outside the hotel were dressed up for National Day. From the room window, you can see Qingdao's iconic scenery of red roofs, green trees, and blue skies. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was so good! It’s a semi-buffet style where you can also order additional dishes à la carte. To my surprise, they even had egg tarts—a Cantonese favorite—and they tasted incredible! Special thanks to our butler, Giselle. Whenever we had any questions, we could reach out to her, and she always resolved them for us immediately. We could even coordinate the room cleaning time with the hotel. Staying here was a truly wonderful highlight of this trip. Grateful for the experience! ❤️❤️

Our stay at MGM Mansion exceeded our expectations. Amy's service was incredibly attentive to detail, making our entire experience comfortable and effortless ✨. The service was excellent, and the decor was understated luxury. My husband said it was the best decorated five-star hotel he's ever seen; he really appreciated all the little details. The breakfast quality was superb. Next time we're in Qingdao, we'll definitely be staying here again. Overall, we were extremely satisfied.

Giselle provided excellent service, but the housekeeping staff's service was poor. The room wasn't cleaned properly; I'm not sure how they clean the rooms. The toothpaste stain in the sink from the night before wasn't cleaned, and it was still there when I returned to the room the next evening. They also didn't provide a bath mat.

Opted for the MGM Grand Mansion for our Qingdao trip during the National Day holiday. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. Giselle provided very attentive service, and the mini-bar was well-stocked. It really felt like a home away from home, and we enjoyed the comfort and hospitality. A thoughtful little detail was that the concierge in the underground parking garage also helped us find a parking spot.

The hotel's warm welcome gift was full of sincerity and created a wonderful ambiance; the exquisite and thoughtful turndown service was rich in detail, showcasing high-quality service and gently rejuvenating every traveler. Additionally, the room's mini-bar was amply stocked with a wide variety of items, ready for enjoyment at any time, demonstrating great attention to detail. This hotel's excellent environment and thoughtful service made my entire Qingdao trip even more perfect. My stay was comfortable, pleasant, and entirely problem-free, truly making me feel at home. The next time I visit Qingdao, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I sincerely recommend it to all friends traveling to Qingdao!
