MGM RESERVE QINGDAO

Choosing this hotel for my Qingdao trip was absolutely the right decision! My entire stay was comfortable and rejuvenating, a truly delightful surprise. The hotel's overall quality is outstanding, with both soft and hard furnishings thoughtfully provided. All amenities are well-maintained and in pristine condition. Whether for a relaxing break, a leisure trip, or a temporary stay, it perfectly meets all needs, offering maximum convenience. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, far from the hustle and bustle, creating a serene and pleasant atmosphere. Public areas are clean and refined, while the guest rooms are cozy and spacious, with excellent lighting and ventilation. My stay was peaceful and relaxing, effectively alleviating the fatigue of travel. What impressed me most was the attentive service from Giselle, our Guest Relations contact, which made the entire experience exceptional. Giselle was gentle, warm, and thoughtful, providing professional and heartfelt service. From check-in upon arrival to daily care during my stay, and finally to check-out, she followed up attentively and meticulously, responding promptly to every request, which put me completely at ease. The hotel's warm welcome gift was full of sincerity and created a wonderful ambiance; the exquisite and thoughtful turndown service was rich in detail, showcasing high-quality service and gently rejuvenating every traveler. Additionally, the room's mini-bar was amply stocked with a wide variety of items, ready for enjoyment at any time, demonstrating great attention to detail. This hotel's excellent environment and thoughtful service made my entire Qingdao trip even more perfect. My stay was comfortable, pleasant, and entirely problem-free, truly making me feel at home. The next time I visit Qingdao, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I sincerely recommend it to all friends traveling to Qingdao!

The front desk added me on WeChat when I checked in, so I could get any issues resolved quickly, which I really appreciated! Overall, MGM COTAI is pretty good, with an excellent location and views. The entire decor is a modern Chinese style, which feels very chic. Breakfast is now semi-buffet and also suitable for children. We even received a complimentary cake and room decoration for our wedding anniversary!

The MGM Grand, with its massive sign on the building, looks quite similar to the Chengtou next door. The Hua Fu rooms are located on floors 32 to 39, and the pool is on the 31st floor. To get back to your room, you first have to go up to the 51st floor and then take another elevator down. Breakfast is also on the 51st floor, next to the lobby, and the view is fantastic. It's a shame it's been cloudy these past few days, but at least it hasn't been too hot. I have to praise the breakfast restaurant – it's changed from a semi-buffet where you ordered some items to now having almost everything laid out. The only made-to-order items are three types of eggs, fresh juices, and a wide variety of fruits. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared; you can ask for extra smoked salmon. The egg tarts were also very authentic! Next, I want to commend our service ambassador, Ms. Ina. She was incredibly responsive and provided warm, thoughtful service. Since the hotel wasn't fully booked, she upgraded us to a side sea-view room and politely checked on our needs every day. I also loved the shower rooms at the pool; each shower stall has a door and a dry area outside for clothes. A quick steam after that was perfect! Finally, I have a few suggestions: First, there's a coffee table placed at the foot of the bed with the sofa in the room. Because its color is similar to the carpet, I ended up bumping into it and getting a bruise. Second, the activity schedule is only provided on the morning of the activity, which makes it hard to plan outings and forces you to just go with the flow. Also, I hope the hotel's activity staff can be more consistent with their information. My child was supposed to attend a 2-3 PM activity; we arrived at the lobby at 2:50 PM, and were told the activity was already over. After showing them the activity time, they reluctantly brought out materials and said we could still do it, which felt a bit unnecessary. The turndown service was another thing – after politely asking, I was told it needed to be booked in advance. Isn't that standard? Lastly, could pearl milk tea (boba) be added to the breakfast, or if sold at the dessert shop, could there be more size options than just a medium cup?

We chose this hotel for our trip to Qingdao with the kids. The service was good, and the environment was very nice. The only minor downsides were that it took over an hour to get a blanket from the front desk after calling, and room service had to deliver all external food orders, which also made it very slow. The hotel said the robot delivery involved food safety concerns, but sometimes deliveries aren't just food; they can be daily necessities too. So, overall, that wasn't ideal. Also, the pillows weren't very comfortable.

I'd give this 10-star review a 7.5. The service was good; the greeter at the door was on point. The room decor was okay, and the room itself was quite spacious. However, with no twin beds, it was a bit cramped for a family of three. At MGM Cotai, you have to go from the ground floor to the 51st floor to check-in. I was prepared for that... but I didn't expect there to be no direct elevator to the room. Every time you come and go, you have to transfer elevators on the 51st floor, which is really inconvenient. Also, there's no robot delivery for food orders; you have to go down to pick it up yourself. The overall experience was quite poor. For a 2000-dollar hotel, it's not cheap, but the service staff didn't seem to match the price point. It left a bad impression. In the evening, there was a turndown service that included essential oils, tea, and a steam eye mask. This should have enhanced the customer experience, but the tray had oil all over it, the tea wasn't good, and the steam eye mask was poor quality. Honestly, it would have been better not to offer them at all. If you're going to provide something, at least prepare it with care. We checked in at 4 PM and wanted to extend our check-out to 2 PM the next day, as we were going out in the morning. The staff said the latest was 1 PM, citing that it was peak season and business was good. Doesn't that mean they should still offer this level of service? They only allowed the 2 PM extension after we expressed discomfort. If I ever come back, I definitely won't choose this hotel again.

I prefer quiet and stylish accommodations, and MGM MACAU Grand Vista perfectly met my expectations. The entire hotel offers great privacy and isn't noisy at all. The in-room smart system is easy to use, and the minibar is well-stocked. In my free time, I could hit the gym. The breakfast selection was well-balanced, and I even got to try some local snacks. Amy briefly explained the location of all the facilities. Overall, my stay was relaxing and comfortable, suitable for both short business trips and leisure vacations.

Let's start with the conclusion: Compared to the St. Regis, each has its own strengths, but overall, I was satisfied. Traveling with kids during the summer, I couldn't get a sea-view room, so we stayed in a city-view this time. However, the window view was indeed beautiful, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive and pleasant sight. I want to particularly praise the breakfast—no queueing, which any family with kids will appreciate, making the experience excellent. Most of the usual categories were available, with just a few minor dissatisfactions: only Eggs Benedict was available for a la carte; although a manual coffee machine was provided, the coffee served was clearly from an automatic machine; and the noodles were a bit too soft, lacking chewiness, which was slightly disappointing. Regarding butler service, the response time was a bit slower than at the St. Regis, which is undeniably fast, but the overall service here was still good. Any issues were promptly addressed and resolved, which is commendable. One minor inconvenience: there was nowhere to hang washed clothes to dry. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, which offered a great view, but no drying rack or balcony. Perhaps the hotel assumes everyone sends their laundry out, which is a bit awkward for families like ours who hand-wash clothes with kids. Transportation, however, was very convenient. Shilaoren Beach is within walking distance, and Metro Line 2 is right behind the hotel, making it easy to get around. Finally, the decor style was very much to my taste, with thoughtful details, and overall, it was a comfortable stay.

An absolutely wonderful experience! I explored all the different areas of the hotel. From the moment I walked in, I felt like my vacation had officially begun. The location is superb and public transportation is easily accessible. Giselle provided excellent service; she was very helpful and responsive. My stay was perfect. The mini-bar and turndown service were both great.
